Your days of relaxation before Camilla's coronation and the village festival were slowly coming to an end which was becoming more and more obvious given by the fact that today was already Friday. Usually, you would have spent your time with Aaron and both Lucario, but your lover had important work to do at the castle - something Queen Rin apologized asking him for on his days off - but that still didn't explain why there was a horde of young men standing in front of you at the door of your house. "Good morning!~"

"Uhm... good morning..?" You weren't sure how exactly to respond when you were faced with Doni, Kai and Yuma, two of the three grinning at you almost maliciously while the third remained pokerfaced as usual. What could they be up to this early in the day? You were going to find out soon enough. "A little Pidgeot told us that your boyfriend was gonna be busy today, so we came to comfort you!"

By saying 'little Pidgeot' Doni must have most probably been making a pun related to Aaron and his flying-type Pokémon since he as well seemed to be the subject of the current conversation, but that wasn't the point, now was it. "You know, just because Aaron isn't here, I'm not necessarily lonely. What kind of picture do you actually have of me?"

"Oh so that means you don't really love Aaron? Okay. Alright. Guess who's telling him that as soon as they see him." Doni dramatically played the victim even though Aaron was clearly the more adequate candidate for that position. "Seriously... Anyway, what are you guys even doing here at this hour? Wanna come in and... I don't know, have breakfast?"

Yuma would have exclaimed a very loud 'YES' if it weren't for Kai putting his hand on the boy's shoulder and taking the replying from there: "Thanks, newbie, but there's no need. We did come here for you though." The blond knight standing next to him snorted, covering his mouth with his hand. "Dude, that sounds like we're here to gang-... I mean, it just sounds wrong, don't say it like that."

Ignoring Doni's perverted remark, you couldn't help but notice that he and Kai were actually spending alone time with each other if it weren't for Yuma. Yes, such a thing was easy to tell since both men were standing right in front of you, but that wasn't the odd thing. What was surprising, was their pair-up itself. If you weren't mistaking, Kai didn't particularly seem to like Doni that much, and yet here those two were. "Guys, Yuma's here too, try to hold back."

"Right, Yuma. Well yeah, since our number one partners are busy today - You know, Aaron, Camilla and Rouen - I thought it wouldn't be such a bad idea for us to hang out as rare-pairing squad!" The blond young man explained once again more enthusiastically than it was necessary, Yuma soon nodding vigorously. "Yeah! So Kai and Mister Doni said that they'd help me catch a Pokémon today! Isn't that cool?~"

"It sure is.~" You gave an immediate reply, lowering your body so that you could properly pat the little boy on his head which seemed to be a gesture he really enjoyed. The message got through, and honestly you were glad the guys decided to invite you as well, since for once it was always nice to spend time with some good friends, and two, both Yasen and Myron were out for the day too, so you didn't have any set plans anyway. "Just give me a second to get ready."
