Summary: this goes back and forth from the present time and then to a flashback so stay with me here.
Joeys pov: My ass hurt really bad so I had a limp. tried to sneak into the house quietly without waking up Daniel. Its 7 am and he shouldn't be awake anyways... hopefully he won't hear me. All my hopes went away when I saw him standing in the middle of the kitchen.
Joey: oh! Daniel! hey!
Daniel: oh come on. what the hell were you doing last night?
Joey: went to hang out with a few friends, remember?
Daniel: you were at some party at Shane's place. I saw your Instagram story.
My cheeks turned red. shit, already caught in one lie.
Joey: uh yea... I didn't know it was a party.
Daniel: yea okay. Why are you just getting home now?
Joey: I uhh...
my mind flashed back to last night...
Shane: You're so fucking hot.
He kissed up my legs and inner thighs.
Joey: I got drunk and passed out... sorry...
Daniel: Bullshit. I know it was something else.
Joey: what makes you think that?
Daniel: you and Shane used to have kind of a thing. How am I supposed to believe that nothing happened? Also, you're limping.
I stood up straighter.
Joey: you should believe me because I'm your boyfriend!
Daniel: you are? well not for long if you keep this lying up!
Joey: what are you talking about?!
Daniel: you might want to start leaving your phone at home during parties, Joey. You aren't very careful with what you post.
He pulled out his phone and tapped on Instagram and then on my story.
Daniel: You don't seem to care when you're drunk.
The video on my story showed someone taking a video of me. Shane had his arms around my waist and was kissing my neck then I walked up to the person and begged them to stop filming... I remember this...
Joey: Stop filming me!
Tana: shut up, no.
I rolled my eyes and grabbed Shane. I leaned in and kissed him hard enough that he tripped a bit.
The video cut off right as I turned around and was leaning in to kiss Shane again.
Joey: I-uh...dont remember-
Daniel: I don't want any more lies. Just tell me the truth. Did you do anything with Shane after this video?
I looked down at the floor and bit my lip before talking.
Joey: we kissed...you saw.
He gave me a look that said "I don't believe you"
Joey: fine! we hooked up.
Daniel: hooked up as in...
Joey: we had sex! okay?!
He turned off his phone and walked right passed me and out the door.
