Jenny's POV
I sat in the living room while watching tv, I don't understand why Elaine kept going somewhere, but I didn't care and I went on to watching the movie, I then heard a knock on the door, I sure remember that Elaine told me she might be gone until tonight, I peeked through the peephole to find Fred, I opened the door and greeted him.
"Fred? How'd you know I'm here?" I asked,
"I tracked you, but I need to show you something." He responded,
"What is it?"
"It's a video, of a necklace."
"Okay."
I let him sit to the couch, I sit beside him and he searched for the video, he clicked a file and a video, the video started, it was a video of a necklace.
"Hello everyone, today let us show you about our research, this necklace here is really valuable, it is not just an ordinary necklace, it looks like it but it isn't." The man in the video said,
He showed a necklace that was familiar.
"This necklace here is brought by Harry Corman."
My father showed up on the video, I was shocked though, he started to explain what the necklace was.
"This necklace here is much more than what we think, it's not just because it's really valuable, but it is from a rare creature which we'll encounter rarely, they say they are called "Mermaids" the ones that the lower body is a part of fish while the upper body is a human body, now, this necklace here is from Mermaids, you will see a glow in it, but that glow is their spirit, so they cannot turn into humans without their spirit, they need to open it so the soul will enter them, also, there are also times that the glow turns into violet, it usually means that they cannot use it anymore, but there will be another chance for it to work again, that's why they come to island because of that chance, but I still don't know what, so that's all I know." My father explained,
"Wow, mermaids are here now? Well atleast we know now, please be updated to the new post, farewell." The other man said,
"Why did you show me that video?" I asked,
"Don't you know that necklace?" Fred asked,
"Well it does seem familiar."
"It's Elaine's necklace."
"What?"
"Yeah, I saw that necklace hanging from Elaine's neck."
"So what? You're gonna steal it from her? And try to sell it for big money?"
"C'mon Jenny, you know I never do that, all I can say is..."
"She's a mermaid."
