Chapter 28

Mike's POV

Fred was with me since we saw each other at the GEHotel. We only sat at the cafeteria. But Fred was focused on his laptop since he's trying to track Jenny and my phone. I don't know where I left it so I made him track it.

"Okay, I found Jenny already." Fred said.

"Where is she?" I asked.

"She's at your dad's lab."

"What about my phone?"

"It's also at your dad's lab."

"Thanks for your help. Wanna come?"

"Sure."

We both stood and headed towards our car. Before we could go there, we decided to buy a snack at 7-Eleven first. Then we drove to my dad's lab already.

Jenny's POV

I stood there shocked when I saw my dad pointing the gun to me and Elaine who was sleeping on my shoulders.

"You both will destroy my life. So before you do, I will kill you first." He said.

He pointed the gun to me first. I closed my eyes and ducked. I couldn't run fast because I was carrying Elaine. I heard a gunshot but didn't feel anything. I opened my eyes and found that Jamie was trying to steal the gun away from my Dad. The gun kept pointing to the roof which is where it always been shot.

Then suddenly, the door to the exit opened. And we found Mike and Fred with 7-Eleven snacks.

"What's happening here?" Mike asked.

We ignored him, the other girl used her powers and Dad was as still as a statue. The gun kept shooting until it ran out of bullets.

"Looks like you ran out of bullets." Jamie said.

Jamie kicked him in the stomach and my Dad groaned as he fell to the floor.

"Mike. Fred. Go back to your car and wait for us." I said.

"No, we're gonna wait for you in here." Mike said.

I sighed. I turned back and watched my dad groaning on the floor. I placed Elaine on the floor and took the cutter from Josh's pocket and took my dad's wrist.

"We're your family. Why would you try to kill us?" I asked.

"We're not family. And you won't treat me like one once you see who I really am." He responded.

He opened his mouth and made a noise that sounded like he was choking. His tongue started to become long a bit and turned dark green. His skin started to pale and it was starting to become greenish. I took Elaine and we all took a step back away from him. He then slowly stood up. His face was green and veins started to show up. His eyes started to become green.

"Run!" Mike yelled.

We all ran towards our car. I made Elaine sit next to me while the three girls went to the backseat. Jamie, Josh, Emily and the two girls went to Josh's car and Mike and Fred went to Mike's car. We all drove away. My car was at the first so I went back to my Hotel along with the others. We parked our cars and went out. All of us walked side-by-side that people looked at us weirdly.
