Jenny's hand almost stuck out of the cage which is why Josh took it. He started to cut Jenny's palm. Jenny started yelling in pain. I felt the anger in me getting higher. So I suddenly extended my hand towards Josh while my palm was facing him. I threw him away with my telekinesis. I stared at my palm shocked.

"How'd you do that?" The boy asked.

"I-I don't know. But I've done it before." I responded.

Jenny smiled at me and formed her hand to a thumbs-up. I smiled back and stared at Josh who was weakly standing up. He then walked towards us angrily.

"Who did that?" He asked angrily.

"No one touched you, dude." The boy said.

"Well, you all are peculiars. Someone might've used their powers."

Josh suddenly pointed his index finger to me.

"You." He said.

He walked infront of my cage and took the remote again. He clicked a button and my cage felt like electric and it hurt. I jumped from the floor and hit my head again. I then lay on the floor as everything were twisting and turning. I suddenly blacked out.

Jenny's POV

I lay on the floor as I saw that Elaine was getting hurt. I wanted to help her but I couldn't stand or fight. Until she never moved at the third time Josh clicked the button. She only lay there still. I didn't care about the pain anymore. I crawled to check Elaine. She was still breathing but I'm thinking she fainted.

"What did you do?" I asked.

Josh stared at me. I could tell he was scared of what he did.

"Give me your phone, Jenny." He said.

"My Gosh! You're hurting people just for a freaking phone?" I said.

I took out my phone and showed it to him.

"Is this what you want?" I asked.

I threw my phone outside the cage and crossed my arms and legs.

"You can have it!" I yelled.

He hesitantly left the room. I sobbed and hugged my knees. Tears were dripping from my eyes.

"Hey, we'll get out of here, okay?" Jamie said.

I nodded. I only hugged my knee and stared at Elaine who was just lying on the floor. She wasn't moving, I just hope that she wakes up soon enough.

I then saw rainbow colors around me. I then felt lighted up. I wasn't really smiling, it's just like the tears from my eyes stopped dripping and none were coming out already. The rainbow colors faded, which was when I smiled a little. I stared at Jamie who was smiling at me.

"You did that?" I asked.

"Yeah, you're really sad." He responded.

And for the first time in my entire life, I never smiled like this to a boy. He actually did a pretty good job trying to make me smile. But I think I'm still not happy. I'm smiling but I'm not happy. I was still worried about Elaine. If only I knew what my peculiarity is.

"Don't. You're frowning again." Jamie said.

"Why? Don't you want me to?" I asked.

"You're much prettier when you smile."

Okay, definetely he almost got me, but I was blushing even more. I tried to hide it but I couldn't. So instead I turned away from him, pretending I was checking on Elaine.

"What's her name?" Jamie asked.

"Elaine." I responded.

"Okay."

He sat back again. Everything was quiet. Until the door burst out open. Josh came in hurriedly. He locked it and he was paranoid. He took out a bunch of keys and he was clutching a gun to his left hand.

"We need to get out of here." Josh said.

"Why? What's happening?" I asked.

"I'll tell you later when we get back to your Hotel."

He started to unlock our cages and making us escape.

"Why're you doing this?" I asked.

"I can't do too much hurtings. I'm sorry." He said.

He opened Elaine's cage and carried Elaine himself.

"Wait, there are still lots of girls in there." I said, pointing to the door at the right.

"We can't get them right now. We have to go, already." He said.

"Please."

"Okay."

We went to the room and Jamie took Emily and carried her. While I just carried Elaine while Josh injected the five girls something that made them wake up. They all stood and followed us. I still carried Elaine with me as we tried to get out. We almost were outside. Until we heard a gunshot behind us.

"I knew you all would escape." My dad said.
