Chapter 29

Elaine's POV

I woke up and all I saw was light. My visions sharpen and realized I was looking at the ceiling and light. I scanned the room and found that I was at Jenny's room. I realized someone was beside me but I didn't care. I saw the door was open and a girl came. She was one of the girls I have been looking for.

"Hayden?" I called out.

"Elaine?" She called out.

She called someone first and walked towards me. She hugged me tight and I did too. My four other sisters were walking towards the bedroom.

"Janice, Mary, Kelsey, Hayden and Rose. You're all here." I said.

They all stood infront of the bed in height form. Hayden was the oldest among us all, Kelsey was the second oldest, Janice the third oldest, Mary and Rose. I was happy looking at them again.

"Mary, call them." Hayden ordered.

Mary went out the room and went to the Kitchen. Kelsey came to me and placed her hand to mine's.

"We're calling the others, so we'll leave you alone first, okay?" She said.

I nodded. They all left to the living room while I waited for the others. Jenny peeked in first and called someone. Jenny came first, and next Mike, the boy in the cage, Fred and Josh. I was smiling until I saw Josh. I remembered when he made me suffer from the cage.

"Elaine, you're okay now, right?" Jenny asked.

I nodded.

"Great! We're gonna have to wait for Emily next." Jenny said.

I checked the person beside me, he or she was covered by the blanket. I untucked the blanket and realized it was Emily. I stroked her hair and stared at Jenny again.

"We're going to tell you what happened, so if you want to know just go to the Kitchen, okay?" She said.

I nodded. They started leaving. Josh was the last one, but before he could reach the door, he turned back to look at me.

"Can I say something?" He asked.

"You are now." I responded.

"I just wanna say sorry, for earlier."

"Yeah. I don't know."

"Jenny will tell you what happened earlier. And I just wanna say sorry."

"It's still hard, I'm gonna think about it."

He left the room. I continued stroking Emily's hair as she was sleeping, or maybe not. I then stopped and stood. I was still wearing the patient's uniform, so I undressed it and my clothes that were under it was out again. I checked the window and it was night already. I checked the clock too and it was eight o'clock.

I went out the room and found my sisters sitting at the couch, watching tv. I continued at the Kitchen and found the others sitting around the table. I sat at the vacant seat.

"So? What happened?" I asked.

"When you fainted. Minutes after that Josh came in saying that my Dad wants to kill Me, You and Jamie." Jenny responded.
