Mike's POV

I woke up in a white room. It was cold but the blankets that tucked me made it less cold. My visions were blurry and I couldn't scan the room. I just sat and blinked vastly. There was another bed at my right but I couldn't see who was lying on it. Then a man came to me.

"Got a good night sleep?" He asked.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"You don't know me?"

"I can't see you. It's too blurry."

"This is your father."

"Dad?"

"Yeah, I took you here."

"What?"

"Sorry, I meant Josh took you here."

"What? Where is he?"

"Josh," He called out, "Come here."

My father then injected something in my neck and my visions were clear now.

"Are you okay now?" He asked.

"Yeah." I responded.

I sat to find Josh standing there. I was still weak to fight him so I just looked at my right. I realized that Jenny was laying in the bed next to mine.

"What happened to Jenny?" I asked.

"She tried getting away so I had to make her fall asleep." My dad responded.

"For what?"

"I have to show you something."

Just then I heard a groan next to me. I realized that Jenny was waking up.

"You woke up immediately Jenny," my dad said, "I guess you're that strong for the needle." Dad said.

"What's your problem?!" Jenny exclaimed.

"I'm sorry, I had to-" My dad said.

"You had to what? Put me to sleep? So Josh will bring me back here?"

"I have to show you something but you walked away."

"Then you couldn't have told me that you were supposed to show me something."

"I'm sorry."

Jenny stayed quiet and rested her back on the wall. Dad injected something on Jenny. It looked the same as the one that he injected me too. I sat and stood, Jenny did also. Dad walked to a room where Me, Jenny and Josh followed. It was like a prison. There was a boy in a cage at my right. He was the only boy here since the rest were girls. They all wore the patient's uniform. We continued walking until we reached another door infront of us. We stepped in and it became even colder. Dad opened something more like of a box. The cold air started to came out from it. He picked and showed us a tiny glass that looked familiar. It had a violet light in it. he took another one but there was a white light in it.

"Can you see the difference?" Dad asked.

We three nodded.

"The reason why this one is violet, it's because-" Dad said.

"That is a spirit that mermaids cannot use anymore." Jenny interrupted.

"Why yes."

"But if it's white that means it's still available."

"Yes, correct Jenny, how'd you know?"

"You explained this in the internet."

"Oh yes I did, but I didn't expect you to watch it."

"In the internet?" Josh asked.

"Yes." Jenny responded.

"Then I'll watch it, Later."

"Why are you showing this to us anyway?" I asked.

"It's because this is from mermaids." Dad responded.

"So?"

"You know your mother, right?"

"We know but she's not here anymore, she left, okay?"

"I still want her back."

"But you can't."

"I wanna, please just let me atleast try."

I nodded, I thought again about what happened that night. The night when my mother left infront of my eyes. She left the house and I was at Molisa Beach when she did. I saw her took off her shoes and swam to the sea. I then saw a green thing in the ocean and I saw it slowly fade away. Then I jumped when a dolphin's sound came.

But instead a mermaid tale jumped from the ocean.
