Chapter 4

Mike's POV

I was worried at my sister, this was all my fault, I never became the brother she wanted me to, If I could've defended her from my friends, this wouldn't happen, I sat in the couch when my phone rang, it was from my friend Josh, the one that Jenny hated the most.

"Hey bro, ready for tonight, I got this hot lady just for you, would you want her?" He asked,

"Not now Josh, not today." I responded,

"But-"

I immediately ended the call and went to get my jacket, I opened the door to find my father in his uniform.

"Dad?" I called,

"Son, where is Jenny?" He asked,

"I don't know, but she's got to be in this town somewhere."

"You have to find her Mike, this is Burgos Town, and lots of strange things happen here."

"I know that Dad, but please also help me find her."

"No I cannot, I have to finish this research, I have to study them."

"Dad, this is your daughter's life, do you really care about those stupid girls you locked in more than your daughter?"

"I'll try."

He left with his car and drove away, I drove mine's and looked for Jenny. I only slowed down as I kept searching, I was ready if she never forgive me, It was my fault, and this time I will be ready to be her brother, a true brother.

(Jenny and Mike's Dad)

I drove back to my science lab, I could feel inside that I was weak, but I had to be strong and finish this research, I went in a prison which is where I trapped girls, on my right was a boy, I went out the prison and went to a white room where there was a bed and a girl was tied to it, she never speaks but she could get in my mind and talk to me in my head, sometimes she would just read my mind, I knew that because she would say what I think in my mind, right now, she's asleep, I took a folder and opened it, it was about her, I saw her name was Kyla, she had abilities like, mind-reading, mind-communicating, and healing, I opened a box and found five tiny bottles with a glow in it and I mumbled.

"One more to go."
