Chapter 14

Jenny's POV

I sat as I thought about what would dad tell me, the car was shaky and bumpy, maybe because of the road, I lay my hands at the side as I sat at the passenger's seat quietly, I finally arrived and payed the taxi driver, I walked to Dad's lab and went in, It was cold there and there was so much white, I saw Dad standing infront of a bed, he was reading a file and he had a little ball on his other hand, more like a pearl.

"Dad?" I called out,

He turned around and smiled, he even went back to reading, like he ignored me.

"Dad, I'm here." I said,

"Come here." He said,

I approached him at the back.

"I meant at the side of the bed." My dad said,

I went over the side of the bed to find Mike laying on it.

"Dad! What happened to him?" I exclaimed,

"I think he's still sleeping." My dad said,

"Then why is he in this bed if he's just sleeping? Isn't this for your patients only?"

"Well yeah, but Mike fell asleep with this needle."

My dad showed me a needle.

"Why would he be asleep with that thing? Did you inject it to him?" I asked,

"No, Josh did." My dad responded,

My eyes widened and Josh came from the other room, he smiled at me and approached me.

"Hi Jenny." Josh greeted,

"Whatever." I said,

"What was that?"

"What was what?"

"What you just said."

"When?"

"Before that."

"I said what was what."

"No, before that."

"I said whatever."

"You still hate me, don't you?"

"Uh heck yeah."

"Why's that?"

"'Cuz you're a loser."

Josh rolled his eyes on me.

"And I'm out." I said,

I walked out of the lab until Josh held my arm.

"Hey, don't walk out from your father." Josh said,

"I'm not walking out from him, I'm walking out from you." I said,

I took my arm away from him and walked out of the lab, I walked at the side of the road and grabbed a taxi.

"GeHotel please." I said,

The driver started driving, I rested my back on the seat, It felt comfy, seeing Josh again made me sick, even though I know how to fight, I felt weak when I see him, it's that he gives me this glare that makes me weak, I went back from my thoughts when we stopped, I looked out the window to find that we still aren't at the Hotel, I saw that there was a traffic, I sighed and waited, I could see the Hotel from here, I was near already so I just payed the driver and went out the taxi, I crossed the street since I was in the middle of the road, I walked until It became peaceful, I walked until I felt a sting in my neck, It hurt but suddenly I blacked out.
