Chapter 37

Elaine

WolfDog held me as he asked whether my friends were looking for me.

"Dad, let her go." Jenny said.

"I won't." He said.

"Then you're gonna regret it."

"No, no, Jenny. You all will."

Jenny's dad let go of me and threw me to the sand. I looked up to find lots of WolfDogs where the car were. They all howled and the others stared at them.

"The f*ck?" Mike yelled.

We all stared at the WolfDogs. I then stared at Jenny's dad who only ran to the side and watched us.

"Run!" Mike yelled.

We all headed towards the opposite side of the beach where Jenny's dad was. We all ran fast but the WolfDogs were just so fast that one of them jumped over me.

I threw the WolfDog away from me with my telekinesis. I continued running until I realized the other WolfDogs were attacking the others already.

I ran towards the WolfDog I just threw and killed it with my telekinesis. It winced in pain and died.

I started to run towards Jenny's dad who was only watching us. I tackled him and he struggled to stand. He already did stand and faced me.

He glared at me.

He started running towards me but I didn't move, instead I used telekinesis. I held him with my powers and I started hurting him. We made a noise which tells he was hurt, but he suddenly stared at my eyes and his eyes turned red.

Two red balls hit my eye and showed me my past.

"Come out Kate!" My dad yelled.

He banged on my bedroom door while I was hiding in the closet, crying. My voice was so loud because my dad was scaring me.

"Come here you skank!" My dad yelled.

I heard the door broke open. I was still crying which was why my dad found me in the closet.

"You piece of sh*t! You're disrespecting your own parents?! Well, this is your punishment." He said.

He grabbed my hair and started dragging me. I struggled to stand up but I kept falling. I begged him to stop dragging me but he showed no mercy. He threw me to a room and took his thick belt from his pants.

He rolled the belt around his fist and started punching my stomach.

"Stop!" I yelled.

"That's what you get!" My dad yelled.

I went back to the reality to find Jenny's dad running towards me. I didn't know what to do that he tackled me. I was on the sand while he was above me.

He tried to bite my head but I kept pushing him away. I finally used my telekinesis and threw him away from me. He flew to the air and landed infront of me.

I immediately stood up and when he was about to run to me, Mike tackled him. WolfDog struggled to stand but Mike held him to the ground. While the WolfDog struggled to stand up, it accidentally hit Mike's legs with it's sharp claws.

The WolfDog's sharp claws scratched Mike's legs that Mike started screaming in pain. Lot of blood poured out from his legs as he screamed in pain.
