Taeil ♡ In The Name Of Love

You were a part of a co-ed group called L.U.X. Your group consisted of you and two guys Hyungsik and ZK.

It was actually really fun. The guys were always out going and they were like your brothers. You loved them and they loved you.

Currently, you were all in the music room, you by the piano, Hyungsik by the guitar and and ZK on the couch with a pencil in between his lips and a note book on his lap.

"Ooh how about this" you play some notes on the piano smoothly, letting your fingers run along the keys.

"Yes! But instead we can make it faster and with a guitar instead" ZK snaps his fingers

"And then we can some sick background music like this" Hyungsik starts banging on his guitar, creating a great sound

ZK picks up another guitar and plays the beat that you played before while Hyungsik continues to bang on his guitar with his knuckles.

You pick up the lyrics paper ideas and begin singing and it all fits together.

"YES!" You all scream after finishing

"That was amazing guys"

You all turn around to see your manager walking in with a guy by her side. You all stand up and bow before saying thank you to her.

"This is Taeil from the boy group NCT" she introduces him

"Annyeonghasayo Moon Taeil iminda" he bows

"Annyeonghasayo L.U.X iminda"

"Taeil here is going to sing a duet with you Y/N at Gayo Daejun" she says

"Oh that's great" you smile at him

"You two will have time to work on this next week. The song can be a cover from another singer or it can be an acoustic like Rosè of Blackpink and Jihyo of Twice did" she inform us "for now just talk and get to know each other so that things won't be awkward next week and you can immediately start working on it. Remember the show is next month and you'll only be meeting every Friday. Good luck" she smiles before leaving

Taeil stands their awkwardly as we all just stand still.

"Are you a hyung?" Blurts Hyungsik (the maknae)

"Umm in an 94' liner" he says

"Oh okay. You're our hyung and her oppa" he grins at him like a child

Taeil chuckles at the 99' liners cuteness while shaking his head.

"I'm Zhang Kyle or ZK and I'm the Chinese member. I'm a 95' liner" introduces ZK

"I'm Lim Y/N and I'm a 96' liner" you smile a him

"And I'm Hyungsik the maknae who's a 99' liner"

"Take a seat hyung" ZK tells him

For the rest of the day, the 3 boys and you continue talking, eventually finding yourself eating gogi together at a restaurant while laughing.

Friday comes and your van has just parked outside SM entertainments. You and Taeil decided to come to SM because they had better equipment and room than your entertainment.

As you step out of the door, you notice Taeil standing at the front door with 2 cups of iced coffee in his hands, one already half finished.

You walk towards him, bowing as you stand in front of him. He hands you the coffee before you both walk to a music room.

"So what song do you want to do?" You ask him

"Is there a song of yours that you want to use?" He asks

"Not in particular. All of L.U.X's songs are really different from your style of music so maybe we could use one of your songs" you state

"Our songs are all in the males perspective and we don't have a lot of time to make some new lyrics so they can fit both the beat, storyline and the females perspective" he replies

"So should we pick a song by some other artist?"

"We could do a song by Jay Park or EXID or something" he shrugs

"Let's do an English song. You know, something new"

"Not a bad idea. Any songs in mind"

"Oh! In the name of love by Bebe Rexha and Martin Garrix. The song is good for both of our powerful vocals plus I've been obsessed with that song lately." You giggle slightly at the last part

"Haven't heard it but I'll listen to it now" he picks up his phone and then hand you the phone seeing that he doesn't know how to write the title of the song in english

After listening to the song, he looks at you with an approval look.

"I like it. And like you said, it's good for our voices. The English will take me some time but I'm sure that I can get it done before the end of the month" he smiles at you

"Great. Let's get started"

——— Gayo Daejun ———

Your makeup unnie was putting the last finishing touches on your face before she looks at you with a smile.

"Don't you look beautiful" she smiles

"This is all thanks to you unnie" you grin at her

"Now Taeil will really fall head over heals for you" she winks

"Wha-what? Unnie stoppp" you whine

"I see the way he looks at you. He's into you" she chuckles at your cuteness

"No he doesn't. We're good friends" you state

"Sure. Now get going, its your turn soon" she shoves you lightly

You stand at your end of the stage while Taeil stands at the other with Johnny and Chenle next to him. Johnny gives him a massage while Chenle holds onto Taeils water bottle.

Taeil looks at you and smiles. Just then, the music goes on and you both begin walking to the center of the stage.

You both continue singing while dancing to the song and then when song finally finishes, Taeil's hands are on your waist and you stand face to face. The crowd claps and cheers  as you both breath heavily.

"You look beautiful" he brings his mic down

"Thank you" you blush

"Can I kiss you?" He asks

Shocked, you looked at him wide-eyed.

"Can I?" He asks again

Slowly, you nod your head. Taeil dives down and places his lips on yours, making the crowed go wild.
