Song of the Chapter: Boom Clap by Charlie XCX

Recap (Jasmine's POV):

Paulene saw my sudden mood and looked towards my direction. She sighed.

"Why do we always have to see them when we don't want to?" Paulene complained.

I saw the bus coming and everyone was getting ready to get on the bus. The bus came and everyone came in packs. The back door opened and I didn't see Paulene at all. But I saw a person I didn't want to see.

Jasmine's POV

"Hey."

“Francisco?!”

How did he get inside the bus so fast? I just saw across the street and he magically came on the bus like some wannabe magician?

I saw Adam next to him with a big grin on his face. “What a small world.”

Paulene came in and immediately saw them. She rolled her eyes. “I thought we got rid of them.”

“You didn't,” Adam retorted. “You can't get rid of us.”

“Watch it, García,” she warned.

“Nice to see you too, Haitian,” Francisco said. “I have a seat waiting for you.”

Paulene and I were the only ones standing up because there was no more seats left. I knew everyone on this bus and most of them think that I have a thing for a wannabe Adam Saleh.

“I'm fine,” I said. The seat was really close to him, but I don't want my teenage hormones to come in and ruin everything.

Paulene eyed me to my phone and I already took the hint that she texted me.

From Paulene (Friday, 10:26am): I'm surprised you're calm about this.

To Paulene (Friday, 10:27am): I'm not calm! I'm freaking out! Why is he on this bus? He better not mess with me or I'm throwing him out the window.

From Paulene (Friday, 10:28am): I don't mind lol

I saw from the corner of my eye that Francisco and Adam were whispering and looking at me at the same time.
I really hate when people look at me and then turn to their friends and talk. Bitch, I know you were talking about me. Now why can't you say it in my face? Someone's cranky.

But then, I saw Francisco giving me a small smile. What does that mean? Is he flirting with me?

To Paulene (Friday, 10:29am): Mexican’s looking at me. Like I don't know if it's flirting or something.

From Paulene (Friday, 10:30am): I don't know. Maybe because you look beautiful every damn day?!

To Paulene (Friday, 10:30am): But why would he look at me like that? He doesn't like me.

From Paulene (Friday, 10:31am): I'm going to be the one that's throwing you out of this bus.

My stomach started to rumble. The Chinese food is calling my name.
There was a Chinese buffet place that Paulene and I wanted to go to because it's cheap and it's Chinese food. I just hope that Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum don't acknowledge our absence.
But, this time they looked at me and whispered. I couldn't take it anymore so I had an umbrella on my hand and aimed it at Francisco’s face.

I was this close. This close to hurt his delicate … I mean stupid face.

Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Francisco looked like he was going to shit his pants. Paulene clapped for me.
