Song of the Chapter: Rude by Magic!
Recap (Jasmine's POV):
I walked out the dressing room to look for Paulene, but accidentally bumped someone.
“Oh, I'm sorry,” I apologized. “I'm clumsy.”
“No worries, I'm actually …” When I saw the face, all of my emotions turned silent and anger started to boil.
“Clumsy,” the person answered.
I remembered everything.
My past has come to the present.
Jasmine's POV
Francisco López. The boy that I'd used to like.
It has been three years since I'd seen him. A very long three years.
It was painful to see him again.
How would I have known that he'd got out of jail? Why would he find me here?
All the anger I had to forget came back again, my fists became stronger, my blood was boiling.
“Hi,” he spoke with a soft voice. “How are you?”
“What the fuck are you doing in my life, you asshole?” I spat. “Aren't you supposed to be in jail?”
“I got out,” he answered. “And I can explain everything.”
“How can you explain three years worth of information?” I questioned. “You could be dead!” Some people were looking at me, but I didn't care.
“Jas--”
“Get the hell away from me.” I tried to find Paulene from Hollister, but it seemed like she's nowhere to be found. My purse was with her, so I'm stuck with nothing.
Francisco started to catch up with me, but I started to walk out the door.
Until he'd called out my name.
“Jasmine!”
I ignored his yelling, but he caught up to me. He turned me around, making me see his five o’clock shadow.
I had to look at him from top to bottom. His body figure changed from skinny to built. He has a few tattoos. His hair became curly again.
He looked hot.
Wait, what am I saying?
“It's not that easy to explain,” he noted. I got off from his grip. “I didn't stalk you or anything. I was with Adam because he wanted to shop for new Jordans because his other one’s got messed up.
“I don't want to talk to you,” I stated. “Now leave me alone.” I walked away from him, but I saw from the corner of my eye that he was still walking behind me.
“Jasmine!”
“La, la, la! I can't hear you!” I exclaimed. There has to be a possible way to get away from him. But I don't have nothing on me. No phone, no car keys, anything.
There are reasons why I hate him so much. But deep down, I still care. I still like him.
Maybe even love him.
Francisco’s POV
Four years I haven't seen her.
And the feelings didn't change.
But, Jasmine hates me. Really hates me.
She'd assumed that I turned ‘bad’ and got it in jail for something so stupid.
