I'm so tired of guys lying to me about everything.

“I'm done.” He looked at me. “I told you so much about me, but you can't do the same. Alex, take me upstairs.”

He unlocked the ankle handcuffs and I walked away with Alex up the stairs.
“Jasmine!” I kept hearing him yelling my name repeatedly, but I'd ignored it.

More POV switches.

Francisco’s POV

I messed up.

The only person that I extremely care about left with the psychopath.

He's the psycho. I'm trying to protect her. But she doesn't want my protection because of a stupid ex that Alex had to blab about.

“You're talking to yourself,” I heard Paulene said. I was? I barely talk to myself.

“Yeah, dude,” Adam commented. “You was like ‘don't leave me’ and ‘it's all my fault’. It was creepy as hell.”

I'm not like myself.

“Maybe the kidnapping got to me,” I said.

“Bro, it's not your fault,” Adam said. “She chose to leave because she was angry. She'll be back.”

“She doesn't want me back,” I muttered.

“Is he usually like this?” Paulene asked Adam.

“Not towards a girlfriend,” he answered.

She doesn't want you back.

The sentence became engraved in my brain.

She can't be that mad about it. Does she think that I'm hiding something?

“Why don't you tell me about this ex Alex was talking about.” Paulene said. “From the beginning, and then I'll get your girlfriend back.”

She can help me.

“Her name was Rachel.”

Day Four

Jasmine’s POV

11:23am.

January 3rd.

No one has found us.

Should I even try and escape again? What about the others?

Just leave them. They caused so much trouble.

My crazy thoughts are actually right for once. Wait, I can't leave them.

All of them lied to you. Francisco didn't tell you about his first love.

He didn't actually say first love.

Doesn't matter. He didn't tell you shit. As for Paulene, you would've been with him a long time ago, but maybe she's jealous.

Paulene cannot be jealous of me. Can she?

Adam probably still loves you right now. What would've happened if Francisco didn't go to Nixon? Adam would've asked you out. He is cute though.
