I checked everything on my monitors, checking to see if I was streaming. Jide sat next to me, his hand on my knee as he watched me fiddle with some settings.
"Okay- can you guys hear me?" I watched the chat and sighed in relief when I was reassured everything was working. I leant back into my chair and waved towards the camera in front of me. "So you're probably wondering why me and Jide decided to stream randomly, right?" I chuckled, placing my hand on the back of my head and rubbed the skin below my finger tips. "Well basically, we have an announcement." The chat filled with their ideas on what could possibly be our announcement, some were concerned me and Jide were dying which made me giggle softly.
"Me and Simon have been debating on how to tell you guys exactly what we wanted to...so" Jide turned in his chair to face me, raising one of his hands to place on the side of my face. Even though we've done this so many times in our 3 months of being together, my cheeks still flared red and my eyes still widened. I bit my lip and leant into his touch, feeling his other hand place itself on my shoulder, massaging the muscle there.
I raised my arms and wrapped them lazily over Jides shoulders, pulling him closer. Our foreheads pressed together and I sneaked a peek at the camera but my head was turned back to look at the man in front of me by his hand.
Jide leant in and locked his lips with mine. All nerves escaped my body and I felt as if I finally took a breath of air after being suffocated. My fingers played with the strands of hair on Jide's neck, his hands rubbing up and down my waist.
We pulled away after a moment and our foreheads pressed against one another's, faces bright red as we breathed heavily.
I chuckled softly and pulled away from Jide, lookin' towards my monitors again to see the chat swarming with Ksimon shippers. There were a few comments with hateful words but they were drowned out by the love and support.
Suddenly Simon's door opened and Josh's head popped in behind the wooden frame. "Could you guys not make out on stream? I have to see it enough in person." Josh sighed, shaking his head.
Jide burst out laughing as Simon giggled, watching his bestfriend and boyfriend.
"Yeah, that was our announcement. Me and JJ have been dating for 3 months. Anyways, I'll see you guys in the next video or stream that I do-" Jide jumped onto my lap and waved excitedly to the stream, shouting bye as I shut it down.
I laughed and wrapped my arms around Jides waste, pressing my face into his back.
"I love you" Jide whispered.
"I love you more"
"I love you most."
"Jide it's not a fucking competition!" I glared at the back of his head, growing annoyed.
