Simon sighed as he rolled over on his bed,  facing towards the ceiling. He began to think back to his days in middle school.

~~~~~Friday 15th, 2006.~~~~~
"I dont understand this question at fucking all!" Harry yelled, throwing his math book towards the floor in a fit of rage.  Simon watched in silence as the papers scattered all around, fluttering until they landed smoothly against the wooded ground. Simon sighed and moved towards the scattered papers, picking them up one by one. "What have I told you about throwing things, Harry." The blonde lectured, neatly putting the papers into the correct order in their marked spots. "Now explain to me what is frustrating you so dearly." Simon smirked, handing the book back to the dirty blonde. "Oh...its just... I dont understand the steps I need to take. Mr. William was absent so we had some stupid supply." Harry felt himself grow angry again, merely by remembering the incompetent sub teacher. Simon took a look at the question and nodded to himself, "I learned that last year, let me help explain it to you." Harry nodded gratefully, his hands clasped together in a plea.
The two friends sat together in the library, going over the questions. "I understand so much more now!" Harry smiled, looking at his answered questions. Simon chuckled and leant back so he was laid slightly underneath the table they were once working at. "The test for my English class is soon, and I'm nervous about it." Simon huffed, crossing an arm over his eyes.
Just as Harry was about to answer, the library doors opened and a student stomped in, a teacher following behind. "Mr Olatunji if you don't stay after class for the next week to finish your missed assignments, I'll have no choice but to fail you!" The teacher growled, his hand landing on the students shoulder in a tight grip. Simon peeked out from under the table and noticed the boy who was in his art class. The blonde frowned and silently stood up and walked over. He noticed as the kids face twisted into a scowl, his hand clenching to a fist and slowly raising.
Simon bounced over and gently pushed the teachers hand off, instead putting his arm over and around the dark skinned males shoulders. "Mr Ghem, what assignments is Jide missing?" Simon spoke with an uptone voice, a large smile taking up his features. He noticed as the slightly taller male eyes him cautiously. "Ah! Mr, Minter! He's missing 12 assignments." The teacher handed his favourite student a page with multiple "missing" red stamps on it. Simon checked it over and nodded curtly. "If it's okay with you, I'll help Jide study. I'm sure he'd rather it than staying after class in a hot room for 2 hours everyday." Simon smiled, his hand raising into a peace sign as his eyes closed. He basically radiated "innocent A-level student." to those who saw. Jide scoffed silently but did nod when the teacher looked in his direction with a raised eyebrow. "Okay...I suppose that could do. But, if he troubles you too much feel free to bring him back to me!" Simon waved his once peace sign shapped hand in dismiss.  "I love a good challenge." The teacher laughed and thanked Simon before leaving.
Simon quickly let the taller man go and took 3 steps back. "Okay. I have a shitty schedule so here's my number-" Simon grabbed Jides hand and placed a folded peace of paper into it. "- I'll call you whenever I'm free. You will show up, I refuse to waste my time with someone who can't even be bothered enough to show up, let alone bothered enough to try and save what little chance of a future they may have." Simon finished with a heavy eyeroll, his shoulders slumping and his hair falling to slightly cover his eyes. "Now, leave the library unless you plan to quielty study." Simon concluded, turning on his heel to walk back to his dirty haired friend who sat with a smug smirk and multiple text books.
