Simon carelessly laid his hand on the steering wheel, looking down at his phone every couple seconds. As Simon turned his head down to check a twitter notification, his body lurched forward. A car had rammed into the back of his car and it sent the vehicle spinning off the side of the road.
Fear consumed Simon's thoughts as his car hung off of a metal bar, looking over a cliff. Josh, who was following behind Simon (they were heading over to the airport) slammed his foot on the breaks, jumping out of his car with no care of the traffic.
Simon tightly grasped onto his seat, not daring to move. The car careless hung over the bar, tilting back and forth as if deciding if Simon should live or not.
Josh ran towards Simon's car, pushing random watchers out of the way. He got near to the back seat window and saw Simon holding on tightly to his seat. Josh decided that putting ad much weight on the back of the car was as good of an idea as he was going to get. Josh crawled onto the trunk of the car, putting all of his weight onto the vehicle.
The car tipped backwards slightly, the bumper slamming against the grass. Simon quickly unbuckled his seat belt and threw himself into the back seats. He pushed open the door and flung himself out. Simon laid on the grass, small gasps leaving his mouth. Josh slipped off of the car, running towards him. He fell to his knees and bent over so he was blocking Simon from the flock of people.
The scared man reached his hand out and held Joshs, squeezing tightly. "Shit Simon. . ." Josh whispered. That was terrifying to watch, he could only guess how Simon felt. The person who hit Simon was gone, driving down the highway at a ridiculous speed. Josh narrowed his eyes and memorized the license plate.
"Did anyone call the police?" Josh asked over his shoulder, keeping his hand connected with Simon's. A lady spoke up loudly, announcing she called.
As if on que, a near-silent siren turned onto the highway. The obnoxious noise grew louder with each passing second until it stopped at the side of the road.
Here to bring you small heart attacks.
