Josh glared at the pure white cat in front of him, who's head was turned away from Josh. "Simon Bradley. I swear to god. Please just get off of my keys, I need to go to work." Simon flicked his tail in anger and laid down completely onto the keys below his stomach.
Josh groaned and hit his head off the wall. "Simon, please. If you let me go to work I PROMISE we can watch movies and sleep all day tomorrow?" Josh offered, peeking to the side to look at Simon. The Nekos ears perked up at that and the stubborn creature removed it's small body off of the metal, making it's way off of the table and towards the living room.
Josh sighed in relief and grabbed the keys, shouting a goodbye to Simon before leaving with a lock of the door.
Simon sat I the windowsill and watched as Josh walked into view, moving towards the crosswalk and then disappeared into a building.
The neko sighed and jumped off the windowsill and moved to Josh's bedroom, shifting into human form. Simon walked towards Josh's closet and grabbed a sweater, pulling it over his unclothed form. He then moved towards the bed and laid down, curling into a ball, pillow pressed against his nose.
Seven hours later.
" Simon?" Josh asked, walking into the bedroom. He saw Simons peaceful form moving ever so slightly with the soft breaths escaping the nekos lips. "Cute." Josh commented quietly, walking to the closet. He pulled off his work clothes and changed into pyjamas, moving towards the bed right after.
Josh laid down and moved himself until he was comfortable, one arm under Simon and one holding his phone. Josh checked his Twitter timeline.
"Josh..." Simon hummed, nuzzling his head against the side of Josh's chest. Josh looked down at Simon and smiled, letting his phone fall to the comforter and the once occupied hand move towards Simons cheek.
The bearded man rubbed his thumb over the blondes cheek, pushing hair off to the side behind the ear.
"Sleep Well, Simon." Josh mumbled, pressing a kiss to the Nekos forehead.
