I closed my eyes as I floated in the water, being carried along the random patterns the water flowed. My mind was empty, the only thought I had was the water.

My body ached from being away from the liquid I've grown so needy of. "Josh? Where's Simon?" I heard the voice of my friend call out and I smiled internally.

"He's probably in the pool, Talia. We both know how he is after winter" Josh and Talia giggled and I heard as they sat down, feeling their stares on me.

"Simon!" My peace was interrupted by an excited girl racing towards the pool, canon balling in. The impact on the water caused me to being pushed under. A smile lifted my lips and I pushed myself back up, breaking up to the surface. "Gee!" I giggled, sending a splash her way. Gee started to propel her arms, drenching me further in the chlorinated water.

Suddenly there were 2 more splashes. I turned my head to smile at Talia and Josh, sending a small wave their way. Talia gasped as Josh just laughed, shaking his hair out of his face.

Talia squealed and whacked Joshs arm for spraying her with his hair water. I started to laugh again, splashing my friends more.

~~~~2 hours later~~~~
"Simon, you're going to actually become a raisin!" Josh whined, watching me from the bench beside the pool. I titled my head towards him and shrugged, starting to practice my breaststroke again. "Siiiimoooooon" I sighed, giving in to the whining Josh.
My arms reached over the ledge of the pool and I pushed myself up and out of the water, walking towards Josh. I plopped down beside him and yawned, stretching my arms outwards.
"You're getting better. It's kind of scary, you're better in the water than on land" I chuckled at that, leaning my head onto Joshs shoulder as I watched the water twinkle.
"Simon...after we graduate, what do you plan on doing?" "Swimming, of course" "like...Olympic?" "No. Maybe? I'm not sure I'm good enough for Olympic, yet, Si." Josh smiled softly, looking down at me. "Yet?" I bit my lip and moved off of Joshs shoulder, turning my body so I was sat criss-cross facing Josh. "I think I really want to do Olympic swimming, Josh." I bit my lip again, but kept my look strong and serious. "I can tell, Simon. I'll be there, by your side" A smile lifted my expression and I dived into his arms, wrapping my arms around his neck tightly as I squealed quietly.
Josh smiled and placed the chin of his head on top of my head, his arms wrapping around my waist as he held me close.
"YOU OWE ME A HUNDRED DAYS WORTH OF FREE FOOD, GEE" Talia screamed and I noticed them at the gateway, watching us. We'll,  Talia was jumping up and down, Gee sulking with a dark aroma around her.
