Simon released a yawn, looking down at his, now full, English note book. "I cant believe we did it- well, you did it." Simon smiled gratefully. It was 2 days past when they first met up and they had now grown close and finished reteaching Simon the whole English course. "Yeah...It's all done." Jide spoke softly. He had taken longer than he needed to insure the most possible amount of time with Simon, but now that he taught Simon everything, would he be forgotten?
"Oh! Theres a test next week right?" Simon asked, looking up from his note book. "u- Oh, Yeah! There is." Simon bit his lip and looked back down towards the notebook, "do you mind helping me study until then?" He mumbled, slightly embarrassed.
A wave of relief and happiness burst into Jides chest as he nodded, "yeah, I wouldn't mind at all."

"And...done!" Simon cheered, showing JJ his practice test. Jide read over the paper with a small frown. Simon messed up the same question again.
"Okay...I'm going to have to try and teach you this a different way." Jj got up from his placed on the floor, moving so he was instead sat beside Simon.
JJ grabbed onto Simons new note book and flipped to an empty page, starting to write a new question.
Jide explained how to read the question and understand it properly and then he taught Simon how to actually answer it.
When the time came around for Simon to redo the practice test, he managed to score a 98%.
Jide clapped in excitement, throwing his arms around simon in a tight hug. Simon returned the hug, a smile tugging against his lips.
The two boys pulled away and looked at each other excitedly. "Bro, I'm actually so proud of you!" Jide praised, highfiving Simon. "Thanks again for helping me, JJ. It really meant a lot."
The two boys stared at each other for a moment, not speaking but still understanding one another's thoughts.
"Here's your snacks, boys." Simon's mom walked in, setting a tray of food down Infront of the boys. JJ thanked the woman and watched as she left, going up to her room.
Simon reached forward and gabbed some random crisps. "Hey, uh...if you want...would you like to hang out with me sometime soon again? Without the studying..?" Jide paused midway from taking a bite from some candy, turning his head to look at Simon.
"Yeah!- uh, I mean, sure."
