With that answer, I decided to do one thing, to call elder Cann…Somehow through all of this Aubrey fell asleep, I watched as her inner demons fought her in her sleep.

With my phone in my hand, I dialed Elder Cann’s number.

“Hello?” I heard.

“Elder Cann, It’s Elder Kimpler, Um…We’ve go a situation here.” I told him.

“What kind of situation? Where are you?” He asked.

“I’m at the Black Knight, there is, I hate to say, but Pack Abuse.” I told him, I heard him hold his breath.

What’s the situation like?” he asked. He hated this topic, his daughter’s mate, was an abusive alpha, when his daughter finally found out that her kind hearted mate had a black soul. She rejected him, and he killed her. He was soon found and sent to Prison for Life.

“Well, my mate, Aubrey, she was a victim, about three years ago…she ran away, and Alpha Alex let her in as a member.” I told him, “And there’s another girl…They treat them like slaves! And beat them up…”

“How long has this been happening?” he asked.

“I’m not sure…maybe thirteen years, there could be more. And there has to be other packs in the past that came…More than likely why didn’t they report this?” I asked him, but I was more asking myself, you would think something would see something.

“I check up on the packs…We will be in the morning to investigate, I want you only, to tell your mate…and the other girl.” he paused, “Does she have a mate yet?” He asked.

“Yeah, that’s the only good news about this situation, it turns out Alpha Alex, is her mate.” I told him.

I felt like I could hear him smile, “Well isn’t that wonderful! See you in the morning, and

get some sleep.” He said, hanging up the phone.

I went back in to the house, to see Aubrey still sleeping, but I can’t go to sleep…Yet.

I ran down the hall to Alex’s room. I quickly knocked on the door, having Alex, open the door, “Hey Alex do you mind if we talk.”

“Nope…” he said, “What’s up?” he asked. And that’s when I told them the plan.

“So were going to make them pay?” said Haley.

“Yep. They have done this two many times.” I answered her.

“They did this more than once?” She asked me again, she sounded fearful of the answer.

“Let’s make them pay,” She growled, there was a glance of murder than replaced with innocence.

“And Aubrey is ok with this…” Alex asked.

I nodded at him. I exited the door after our conservation. As I walked to our room, I saw Alpha Eric, hesitating to knock on the door.

“Alpha Eric, can I help you with something?” I asked him.

“I needed to talk to Aubrey about training.” he told me, I knew this was a lie, but I was going to go with it.

“Oh, well we are going to have training tomorrow…” I lied to him.

“Oh…Ok’, I’ll make sure to wake up early.” He said, then left.

I shook off my thoughts, I undressed leaving only my boxers on, I go to the drawer and grab a pair of sponge bob pajama bottoms. I climbed into the bed, pulling Aubrey closer to me. I quickly fell to sleep.
