It took about three minutes until a shiny midnight-blue mustang pulled into her driveway. Since she had gotten home, the bright sunshine turned into clouds and rain. Gerard came out of the his car, and walked to her front door.

Her heart started pounding. What was he doing? She rushed out of her room and down the stairs. She ran even faster, hearing a knock on the door. She answered it.

"Ally!" Gerard said, stepping in. "Are you alright?"

She nodded, "But, what are you doing here?"

"I'm not going to just sit back and let them do this to you!" He explained.

"What the hell are you doing in my house!?" Her Dad angrily said.

"Dad, he wants to talk to you." Ally said.

"No!" He yelled. "We've made our decision! We just want to protect you, Ally."

"But there's nothing to protect her from!" Gerard added. "At least not when it comes to me."

"I believe I'm the one to judge that." Her Dad, firmly said. "Now get out of my house, and away from my daughter."

"Why are you being so unreasonable?" Gerard asked. "Here your daughter is, dying, and you can't even try to understand?"

"Gerard, just please, go." Ally quietly said, trying to prevent anything bad from happening.

"And what am I supposed to 'try to understand'?" Her Dad asked, using air quotes on "trying to understand".

"Understanding your daughter." Gerard quietly said, starting to get annoyed. "Do you even know who she is? I mean, like really is?"

"Of course!" He replied. "I raised her."

"Really?" Gerard said, without taking his eyes off of her Dad's. "What's her worst fear?"

"What is any girl's worst fear? Something like spiders." He said, unsure if he was correct, but trying to act like he knew what he was talking about.

"Wrong." Gerard said. "Vampires. What's her favorite drink?"

"She likes tea, like her mother." He insisted.

"Wrong again." Gerard started to even more get annoyed. "Chocolate milk. And I'll bet you don't even known her favorite band?"

"I don't need to answer to you!" He said, getting sick of the kid's questions.

"Green Day." Gerard explained, stepping closer to him. "You didn't get one, not even one, right. And you say you know her." He turned around and met Ally's gaze.

She stared at him with a look of awe for a moment.

"Out!" Her Dad yelled, pointing to the door. "Now!"

Gerard walked out the door and into his car. It all happened so fast, at least that's how it seemed to Ally. Her spirit dropped, and she went upstairs, where she remained for the rest of the evening. No food, she just went to her room.

Sitting at her desk, she found the list of things that her and Gerard were supposed to together. She crumbled it up, and threw it into her trash can.

* Two days later*

She tossed and turned in her sleep. Her eyes were tightly shut, and a painful expression appeared on her face.

*nightmare*

She saw herself in the hospital, laying in a bed and near the end. She was scared to see herself like that, pale skin, hooked up to a bunch of different machines. A nurse came in a checked on her before going to another room. And other than that, she was alone. Gerard wan't there, neither were her parents. She was completely alone. And the worst part, was when she watched herself stop breathing.
