The freaking song!

~Gerard's POV~

I sat in the corner of an empty room with my head buried in my arms. They had already taken Ally out, the only light in there came from the window. Even the sky cried for her. Ally's family had already gone home, as did Frank and Mikey.

"I'm sorry, but can you please leave the room." A nurse said, she had a soft British accent, she was one that had been helping Ally.

I looked up with my tear stained face. "Y-yeah, of course."

"I'm sorry." She said as I walked by. "She told me about you."

I stopped and turned around, it caught my attention.

"She said that you were amazing." She continued, tucking her dark blonde hair being her ear. "I really am sorry."

"Me too." I replied, my voice cracking. I exited the room.

I walked past the people walking by, I stuffed my hands in my pocket. Everything sounded fuzzy, I tuned everything out as I got into my car and drove through the parking lot. I turned on the radio, thinking it would help me, but the song that came on was Wake Me Up When September Ends. I quickly shut it off, and decided not to listen to anything.

"Gerard." My mom said, greeting me with a hug. "I'm so sorry honey."

"She's gone." I said, letting myself cry. "She's really gone."

"I know, are you okay?" She said, breaking the hug. "Do you want anything?"

"No." I replied, going to my room.

I tossed my jacket, and went to bed.

*****

I woke up and looked at the clock.

8:45am

I got out of bed to eat, I didn't bother getting dressed though.

"Hey honey." My mom said, giving me some pancakes. "Eat up, I hope you feel better."

I looked at the fluffy pancakes she set in front of me, coated with butter and syrup. I pushed the plate away, and only took a small sip of my coffee. I leaned back in my chair, my gaze fixed upon the floor as hair fell in front of my face.

"Gerard?" My mom asked, furrowing her eyebrows. "Where are you going?"

"My room." I muttered, before shutting my door.

I sat on my bed and closed my eyes, a warm tear ran down my cheek.

~Flash back~

I was in the coffee shop, there was a girl who rushed past me, I noticed that there was a phone left at the table she had been sitting at. I guessed it was her's, grabbed it, and ran out the door after her.

"Hey! You forgot your phone!"  I yelled.

She ran to get it, but I reached her faster. "Thank you so much." She said as I handed it to her.

"No problem." I replied flipping some hair out of my face. Her gaze fell to my Metallica tee.

"I like Metallica too." She said gesturing to my shirt.

"Oh, yeah. They're awesome." I replied shyly.

Then her phone went off, I recognized the ring tone and gave a smile. "Hello?" She answered with.  I didn't know who it was.

"Um, I went to a coffee shop, and lost track of time. Sorry, I'm okay by the way." She replied to whatever the other person said, as she gave me a weird look, wondering why I was smiling.

"Yes, mom. I'll be there in a bit. Bye." She said as she hung up.

"What's so funny?" She asked me.

"Your ring tone." I answered.

"What about it?"

"'Do you know what's worth fighting for? When It's not worth dying for?' That's Green Day, Twenty one guns. Green day's a pretty good band." I explained, stuffing my hands in my pockets.

"Huh." She said slightly tilting her head to one side. "Well, it was nice chatting with you, but I've got to go." She explained.

"Oh, yeah. Worried mom, right?"

"Yep. Gotta go bu-bye." She said as she walked away and waved.

She stayed on the side of the sidewalk she was on, meanwhile, I crossed the road. After a minute, she noticed that I was going the same way as she was, making all the same turns as her.

"Why did you go all the way over there, when you could have just stayed on this side? You're going down the same streets as me, aren't you?" She yelled to me.

"Because I didn't want to seem like a stalker!" I yelled back, smirking.

She couldn't help but laugh, "Well, now that we know, you can come back on this side!"

"Okay." I made sure it was safe to cross the road.

"Hello, again." I said with my hands in my pockets. "I had to come back over here anyways, I'm on this side of the street. Did ya get lonely?" I said looking down at her with a smirk on my face.

"Why would you say that?" She asked giving me that weird look.

"You did call me back over here."

"I was just being..... Logical." She laughed.

"Right." I said sarcastically.

She glared at me with her beautiful eyes, but couldn't take it seriously and the corners of her mouth slightly turned up.

We walked in silence for minute.

"Well, this is my stop." I said gesturing to my house.

"Oh, okay. then." She said. "Well, I'm down a ways. Bye."

"Bye." I said, unlocking the door. "See ya around then."

She continued down the sidewalk and turned around, she saw me waving and waved back, with her bright smile. I watched her walk down the road, the corner of my lips turning up as I closed the curtain after she was out of sight.

"There's just something about...Huh,"I said to myself, "I didn't get her name." I walked away, smiling.

~End flash back~

Even more tears ran down my face. "The first time we met." I said. "Why couldn't it all last forever? Ally."

*Buzz*

My phone went off, it was a text from Frank. It read,

"Funeral in a couple days. Thought you'd want to know. How r u holding up?"

I responded with, "okay, thanks, I'm fine. You?"

"I've been better. Cya in a couple days." He replied, ending the conversation.

I fell back onto my bed and sighed. I had completely forgot about the funeral.
