Tossing and turning, Ally couldn't sleep after what had happened earlier that day. Gerard was just trying to help, but her parents kicked him out practically. Glancing at the clock, she saw that it was about 3:00am. She grunted, wishing that the night would go by faster.

She got up out of bed and went downstairs. The wooden floors felt like ice on her bare feet. The house had a grey-blue glow to it, because of the moonlight. She quietly opened the front door, went out onto the porch, and rested her arms on the wooden railing that was over halfway as tall as her.

She breathed in the crisp cool air. Going over to the chair that sat beside the front window, she sat down held her knees, and after sitting there for a few minutes, she fell asleep.

"Ally?!"

Ally shot up from where she was lying, and saw that it was her Mom, standing in front of her.

"What the hell are you doing out here?" Her Mom asked. "And how long have you been?"

"What time is it?" Ally asked as she rubbed her eyes.

"8:03am." She explained.

"A few hours." Ally replied. "I couldn't sleep, so I came out here and actually fell asleep."

"I don't get you sometimes." Her Mom said, putting her hands on her hips with an angry face on. "You can't sleep in your room, so you come and sleep outside?"

"Hey, Ally!" someone yelled from the sidewalk.

"Frank!" Ally said, standing up.

"How are you?" He asked. "Gerard told me what happened."

"I'm okay, breakfast?" She asked.

"You know it." He replied with an ear to ear smile.

They sat down at the table. The smell of bacon filled the house, as well as a grease smell. French toast was placed on the table by her mother as well.

Unlike last the time Frank ate with them, the children weren't quiet. They were running their mouths about "the boy who brought Ally home".

"He had a lot of black on, didn't he Mom?" Kenny asked.

"Yes, yes he did." She answered, looking at Ally instead of Kenny.

"It suits him." Ally added, not looking up from her food.

"Do you mind if I steel your daughter for the day?" Frank asked.

"What do yo have planned?" Her Dad answered his question with a question.

"It's a surprise!" He replied, putting a finger over his lips.

"Is it now?" Her Dad said, leaning against the back of his chair. "Alright. Go ahead. Just don't be out too late."

their first stop was his house.

"What are we doing here?" Ally asked as she unbuckled her seat belt.

"You'll see." He answered with a smile.

He unlocked the door, and they went in. It was a decent house, kind of messy though. But, that was Frank.

"TA DA!" He said showing her a tan and black electric guitar.

"You got it!" She said in awe.

He strummed it, and a wonderful noise came out. "Pretty sweet, huh?"

"Hell yes!" She replied.

He held it out to her. "Go ahead."

She covered her mouth and quietly squealed. As she did, the front door opened, and Gerard stepped in.
