Ally woke up in the morning, and the sun was being blocked out by the clouds, she didn't care too much, she didn't feel good. She stumbled to the bathroom and rested against the counter, before falling to the floor.
Hearing the loud thump, Ally's mom came up there.
"Ally!" She yelled, seeing her.
They rushed to the hospital. As Ally lay in the cold hospital bed, she struggled to keep her eyes open, she didn't want to be alone now; when she was dying. Everything started to fade as she tried to yell, but no sound came out.
She thought about Gerard, how she didn't say goodbye, and she never would. Sounds began to fade, as well as the lights. And despite her struggle to stay awake, her eyes shut, and she let out her last breath.
Ally's POV
I shot up in bed, breathing heavily, I went and splashed water on my face. It was just a nightmare, I was alive, and so scared.
"First thing." I told myself. "First thing in the morning, I'm going to see Gerard."
********
I woke up in the morning, and threw on a Green day tee and some skinnies. Grabbing a piece of toast and waving to my mom, who sat at the table, I left. It was partly sunny, and bit cold, but it was still nice. As I walked down the almost empty sidewalk, I finally came to Gerard's house. His car, however, wasn't there.
I knocked on the door, and Donna came to it, greeting me with her lip stick smile.
"Hello Ally." She said.
"Hi, is Gerard home?" I asked, returning the smile.
"No, I don't know where he went, I thought he went over to see you." She explained, shifting her weight onto one leg and resting a hand on her hip.
"No, thank you anyway, have a nice day Mrs. Way." I said before leaving.
I narrowed down where he could be, to three locations; The coffee shop, the pond, or on his way to my house.
I texted my mom asking her to tell me if Gerard stopped by, she agreed. I went to the coffee shop, and had a hot chocolate while I was there. But Gerard didn't show up. One other place he could be; The pond.
I chugged down the rest of my drink before making my way to the pond. It took about five minutes, but I was finally there, I proceeded down the path, and didn't find him there. I decided to wait awhile, sitting down in the shade of the trees.
A soft breeze blew over the water, and I could hear birds singing as dragonflies flew over the water, lightly touching their wings to it. But, it wasn't the same, not without Gerard. I noticed that everything was better when he was around.
A deep sadness filled me a I thought about him. I got up to continue my search. I called Mikey and Frank, they didn't know where he was either. I was getting worried about him now.
*******
"Where is he?" I asked myself.
It was dark now, and I was at the pond again, I looked for hours, and couldn't find him anywhere. I sat there, alone, in the dark. I put my knees up to my chest, rested my arms on them, and buried my head in my arms, crying. I felt so horrible, where was he? What if he did something stupid because of me? These thoughts crowded my mind as I began to cry even harder.
I knew my mom would be worried, so I went back home, walking with my hood up and my hands in my sweater's pockets through the pale yellow street lights.
"Did you find him sweetie?" My mom asked as I walked in.
"No." I said, my voice cracking. "No I didn't.
No more questions were asked as I went to bed, putting my pillow over my tear stained face.
Even though it was just a day, it felt like he'd been gone so much longer. I missed Gerard already, and didn't know what do anymore.
