~Gerard's POV~
Today I was taking Ally to the pond.... As far as she knew. I was taking her there, but I didn't mention the where else we were going; An art shop and maybe a music place too. I drove down the street a ways to the sound of some Metallica. I listened to only one song before I pulled into her driveway.
I turned the radio off as I got out of my car, and went to the door. I casually leaned against the side of the house as I waited for someone to answer, swinging my keys around my finger.
"Hi Gerard." Ally greeted me with, as well as her bright smile.
"Hey, are you ready to go?" I asked, returning the smile as I stood up normally.
"Yup." She replied. "Wait, hold on, I need to grab my phone." She gestured for me to come in. I followed her upstairs.
We walked up the soft carpeted stairs, and Crystal running down them after Kenny almost tripped me. I think she was trying to murder him, again. Ally opened her door and we went inside, where she went to grab her phone off of her nightstand.
"Crap." She muttered. "Where did I leave it?" She looked around while I sat on the trunk at the end of her bed. "Ah, found it, not sure why it was under my pillow though. Anyway, let's go."
"Yay!" I cheered with slight, very slight jazz hands.
"Bu- bye mom." She said as we left.
I revved up the engine and off we went, to the pond.. Like I said, as far as she knew.
I turned on the radio, and since Ally was in the car, I turned on Green day, the song was called Boulevard Of Broken Dreams. Ally was lip singing, I kept looking at her, waiting for that blushing smile. And when she, met my gaze, that's what she did. I rested my elbow on the windowsill and ran my hands through my hair as I smirked.
I couldn't help but lip sing too, and it eventually turned into quiet singing and then she joined in, now it was more like a duet... Not counting Billie though.
"You're a good singer Gerard." She said, meeting my gaze.
"Nah, it's just something that's fun I guess, like, it's not something I could do for a living, y'know? As awesome as that sounds, I think I'd go for something more realistic." I laughed.
"Wait what?" She said, looking out her window, watching the pond get further away. I knew she was going to say something like that at any second.
"Heh heh." I laughed in a higher tone than my usual one.
"Where are we going?" She glared.
"That, my dearest Ally, is for me to know, and you to find out in a few minutes." I said, fixing the rear view mirror.
She glared and folded her arms. "How did I not see this coming."

~Ally's POV~
We pulled into a parking lot and there were two stores right next to each other; An art store, and a music store.
"Ta da!" He cheered, getting out of the car.
I got out as well. "Awesome!"
We walked side-by-side to the art store, he guided me in, putting his hand on the small of my back. It wasn't very big, but it had all kinds of things. Different kinds of surfaces to paint on, art books, paint, pencils, shading tools and everything. It was so cool.
"So what was it that you said you needed for that drawing you've been working on?" He asked.
"Uh, I think I need more green and white paint." I replied, looking around. He took me by the hand and pulled me over to the paint section. I looked through the colors and found the right shade of green. I then grabbed the white.
