The song....
~Gerard's POV~
I was really excited to go canoeing with Ally today. I went to the kitchen and my mom gave me some pancakes, yum. After finishing, I wanted to hurry up and get ready. I threw on a Green Day tee and my yellow converse, jeans of course as well. Grabbed my keys, and before I opened the door, my phone went off. Caller ID: Frank.
"Hey." I answered with.
"Gerard you absolutely need to get down here." He said. He was in a panic.
"D-down where?" I asked, starting to worry.

I finally reached the lobby and was pointed to room 221. I raced past visitors, doctors and nurses, running as fast as my feet would carry me. I almost fell over a few time even. It felt like the floor was moving against me like a treadmill, like I wasn't getting anywhere. Or my feet were glued to the floor.
I finally came to a screeching halt in front of room 221; The room where Ally lay, hooked up to machines, so near death. I took a deep breath before putting my hand on the cold silver knob...
