The song! I listened to it so many times while writing this!
~Gerard's POV~
I came back to Ally's grave a few days later, she had the headstone by then too. A cool Autumn breeze blew the hair out of my face as I knelt on the ground in front of it. I heard footsteps behind me, I turned to see who it was, it was Ally's mom, she had flowers.
"Hello Gerard." She said, I stood up. "I was hoping to see you around at some point."
She handed me a book. "What's this?" I asked, examining the hard cover, the design on it was ocean waves splashing on a shore at sunset.
"It' an art book." She replied. "Ally's, art book. She asked me to give it to you."
"T-thank you." I said, getting up and walking to my car.

*Knock knock*
"Gerard?" Mikey asked, knocking on his bedroom door. He slowly opened it, and could hardly see only a small beam of light shone through the curtains. "Gerard, mom wanted me to give you some breakfast."
Gerard didn't move, his back was to Mikey. Mikey set the food down on his nightstand. "Y'know, I know this had been hard for you. It's been hard in me too. But she wouldn't want this. Gerard, you've been in bed for a week now. No one's seen you since the funeral. You've been laying in a dark room. Ally wouldn't want this." And with that, he shut the door.
Gerard rolled over, and looked at the food he was brought; Pancakes and bacon, as well as some coffee. He turned back over and left it.
In about an hour, Mikey came and checked on him, only to find the food untouched. Just like every other time he gave him food. Mikey left the room, and went to his. He flipped open his phone, and put Frank's number in.
"Hey." Frank answered with. "What's going on?"
"Uh, Frank." Mikey replied, sitting on his bed. "I need you to come and talk to Gerard. He won't eat, and hasn't come out of his room since the funeral. I've tried to talk to him, so have mom and dad. I dunno what to do."
"Okay, I'll be there in a minutes, I'm right around the corner anyway."
~Frank's POV~
I figured this would happen, knowing Gerard. I pulled into the driveway, and made my way to their front door. I knocked in the rhythm of shave and a haircut.
"Hi Frank, Mikey said you were coming." Donna greeted me with. "Come in."
"Thank you." I replied, walking in. "Gerard's in his room?"
"Yes, thank you for helping."
I made my way down the hallway, thinking about what to do when I get in there. "Gerard?" I asked, knocking. I knew he wouldn't answer, so I opened the door, and gently shut it. "Hey." I sat beside him, our backs to each other.
"Look, Ally wouldn't want you to do this, she told you, didn't she?" I continued. "I know that you loved her, and that it's hard now that she's..... Gone." I said, my voice starting to crack as I recalled that my best friend had died. "I know what you're going through."
"No you don't." He replied, still with his back to me. He finally turned over. "You don't get it. Ally was the best thing that ever happened to me, everything about her made me feel better. Every time she smiled, or said my name. Every time she I held her hand, every time she lip sang to Green Day, every time I stared at her, and she blushed..... And smiled..... Between me and the ground." His voice cracked as he recalled this, rolling onto his back, putting his hands over his eyes.
