"Nasan na si Finley ?" Tanong ni Miguel ng makasakay ako sa kotse niya.

"He's with Thalia again." Sagot ko.

"You must be very jealous , sagutin mo na kasi." Giit niya , inirapan ko siya at tumingin nalang sa labas ng bintana ng kotse niya.

Nang makarating kami sa bahay nila Ely , ang ganda talaga , syempre ako ang nag design e.

"Sean , you're here with Miguel , I thought Finley fetch you ?" Tanong ni Thalia , kumunot naman ang noo ko.

"He told me he'll fetch you." Sagot ko , tumango nalang siya at pumunta sa kadarating na si Finley.

"Hon , look at me. Don't cry." Sabi ni Kuya sa may mic.

"Again , this is my third time proposing. This is a super long delay , I want to ask you again , infront of your parents , friends and relatives. Also , in front of our daughter. Miss Ely Celina Ibañez , will you marry me ?" Tanong ni Kuya David kay Ely , nakangiti naman ako habang pinagmamasdan ko sila.

"Yes , I will marry you , Mister David Christopher Janssen." Sagot ni Ely at doon na umulan ng mga palakpak galing samin.

"Araaaaaaaaay!" Nagulat ang lahat ng biglang sumigaw si Ely.

"Manganganak na ata siya!" Rinig kong sigaw ng isa sa mga bisita.

"Hon , hold on. Miguel , ilabas mo sasakyan! Dali , ngayon na!" Utos ni Kuya David kay Miguel.

"Kami na ang bahala sa mga gamit." Rinig kong sabi ni Angeline.

"Miguel! Hurry!" Sabi ni David.

Yun nalang narinig ko ng may humila sakin papunta sa kung saan.

"Thalia , sumama ka sa kanila. Ikaw ang magpaanak kay Ely. Lili , come with me." Sabi ni Finley saka hinila ako papunta sa sasakyan niya.

Hindi ako umimik ng makapasok kami sa sasakyan.

"Lili , I'm tired. I think it's better if I stop courting you." Sabi ni Finley habang nagd - drive , parang gumuho ang mundo ko.

"Maybe you don't like me. Sana sinabi mo nalang una palang na hindi mo ako gusto para hindi na ako tumagal." Dugtong niya.

Gusto kong sabihin pero walang lumabas sa bibig ko , ni isang kataga walang lumabas sa bibig ko.

"Baka siguro kaya hindi mo masabi ang salitang mahal kita ay dahil hindi mo naman talaga ako mahal." Sabi niya , doon na bumuhos ang luha ko.

Nang makarating kami sa ospital , nandun na sila Angeline , mukhang ampanget ko na siguro.

Dumiretso ako sa banyo para maghilamos ng mukha , kalat kalat  yung make up ko. Mukha akong doll sa isang horror story.

Nang makalabas ako ng banyo , nandun si Finley mukhang hinihintay niya akong lumabas ng banyo.

"If you want to stop then stop. But I just want to tell you , it's either you catch me or you lose me. But right now , I think it's the latter. Thank you for being my best friend , bye." Sabi ko bago siya nilagpasan.

"Lili , do you love me ?" Tanong niya.

"Yes , I do love you. But you just lose me." Sagot ko bago siya iniwan ng tuluyan dun.

Naghanap ako ng taxi para umuwi sa condo , I need to get out of his life.

I need to call mommy.

"Mom , nandiyan ba si Dad sa bahay ?" Tanong ko.

"Yes , nandito siya. You're coming home ?" Tanong ni Mommy.

"I'll just book a hotel nearby." Sagot ko naman.

"Lili , talk to him. I think it's better that way." Sabi ni Mommy sakin.

"Mom , I can't talk to him. You know , he's mad at me." Sagot ko.

"I think , no. Last time , he's asking where you are. Lili , your Dad misses you so much." Sabi ni Mommy , tumulo naman ang luha ko.

"Okay , Mom. I'll text you kapag nasa terminal na ako. Tell Kuya to fetch me." Sabi ko sa kanya.

"Why so sudden ? Where's Finley ?" Tanong ni Mommy , dun ako lalong naiyak.

"Mom , he's busy. I can't always call him if I need him. He has his own life too , Mom." Sagot ko.

"Okay , just text me." Sabi niya , saka  binaba ang tawag.

Habang nag-aayos ako ng gamit ko. May napansin akong photo album dun.

"Memories." Basa ko sa harapan ng album , at ng binuklat ko yun.

It's Finley & Thalia together , hindi pala ako ang bida sa storyang ito. I'm the antagonist here. I need to stay away.

May mga sulat din dun galing kay Thalia. Those are all letters made of love. Maybe they love each other for a long time , pagod na rin naman si Finley sakin. I guess , this ends our temporary love story.

"You're leaving ?" Tanong ni Finley ng makita niya akong nag aayos ng gamit.

"Yup , I'm going home. Thank you for welcoming me here. I'll leave my payment to you before I leave." Nakangiting sabi ko sa kanya.

"You don't need to leave." Sabi niya.

Pero umiling ako , "I need too. You gave up , I have nothing to do with you anymore. You're not waiting anymore." I tried hard to control my tears , "Goodbye , babe." Sabi ko bago siya hinalikan sa lips , "I love you." Bulong ko bago umalis ng tuluyan.
