Two men's feet wandered wandered down the schools halls. One, quiet like a mouse. The other, louder, more marching.

People made way in the halls for them, fear and concern in their eyes. They all walked towards the lockers to make way for the boys.

Jack pretended not to notice the attention that his reputation brought him. Meanwhile, Mark couldn't help but notice. He disliked the staring eyes of classmates he didn't bother to remember the names of. Their looks of concern toward him worried him dearly. Everyone thought he was crazy for ever even being near Jack.

" They're all staring Jack" Mark mumbled to him.

Jack smirked more sadistically then he intended too. Then the man slipped his hand in Marks, the vampire jumped internally at the sudden contact. Marks looked down at the gesture with concern and slight panic.

" Might as well give them something else to stare about" Jack shrugged.

Mark couldn't help but smile at the Irishmen words. Their more intimate relationship had started in the heat of the moment really. But neither of them regretted the decision at all.

The boys passed Phil, who stood in the shrinking punk rock group, standing out a little due to the loss of Dan beside him. No one payed attention to Phil really, but they still accepted him in the group. But ever since Dan broke in with a gun everyone had questioned Phil and his affiliation with Dan.

Mark smiled at Phil, memories of the day before in his head. Jack didn't notice.

The pair noticed the crowd thinning in front of them as well. Someone else of that was feared was walking towards them.

Mark heard Jack sigh as Felix came into view.
The man had graduated two years ago, which now makes Mark and Jack seniors.

" I thought I told you to skip town douchebag" Felix angrily spat.

Jack stopped when he was a metre from Felix. Jack took his hand out of Marks. His eyes burning through the vampire in front of him.

" Last time I checked I don't take orders from you" Seàn spoke more calmly then Mark thought he would.

" Disappear, or I'll have a bitch to beat!" Felix yelled.

" You really want to do this right now Kiellburg?" Jack challenged.

The Swedish man pushed Jack back a few steps. Mark was about to step between to two, not wanting a fight to break out but he was stopped when Jack lunged at Felix.

Sean straight out punched Felix in the jaw. Everyone that had gathered around gasped collectively, including Mark himself. The Swedish man had staggered back, he reached up to feel the already bruising surface. With hate in his eyes he glared back at Jack.

" That was a mistake Seàn" Felix spat.

" Want another?" Jack questioned, holding up his fist.

Mark stepped in between the two, using his enhanced strength to push them apart. He was the strongest one of them all, being a vampire and being the eldest of them all.

" That's enough!" Mark yelled.
" We have never gotten anywhere with violence" the man finished, his words holding a deeper meaning.

Jack and Felix shared a glance for a few seconds. The blond man then looked at Mark with hate, the vampire was now with Jack and would protect him.

" You're protecting a monster!" Felix shouted.

Mark gently pushed Felix away from Jack. When they were a few steps back, far enough so neither could land a hit, Mark looked up to the taller man with a neutral expression.
