Jack currently sat in front of the trap door he had built with his own two hands and it sat in front of him, locked and secured away from his grasp.

The teen stared it down as if it had killed his cat. But his hands wanted so badly to open it and go downstairs with someone.
To hear someone scream again.

It was like it was a drug to him. Jack hadn't noticed it before but, it was a way to vent his anger and his frustrations. He'd taken it for granted. Then he went without for a year or two. Mark's request had re-awakened the urge and it was climbing up his back.

Luckily the urge wasn't strong. He wasn't crazy with need, not yet. Although the teen did know that one day he would be. But today was not that day.

" Feel like going to school today?!" Mark yelled from the hallway.

Jack stood up and practically threw himself on the couch to look like he was doing something other than thinking about carnage. He pretended to pick at his finger nails.

" Felix will just beat the shit out of me once I get there. He told me to skip town".

Mark rolled his eyes at the drama in this own town. He missed the days when all he had to worry about was his father his temper tantrums.

" Since when are you scared of anyone? Besides I'll be there to protect you" Mark encouraged, leaning down on the back of the couch.

Jack now looked up at Mark, squinting a bit before getting up.

" You know what? Why not?" The Irishmen shrugged.

The next few minutes were spent getting ready for the day. With Mark calling the school and pulling strings to have him come back. Even though he was technically a missing person, but he got his father to fix that. He was thankful that he was okay and alive, he just wished he could say the same for his brothers.

They were about to leave when Jack got a call. The Irishmen told Mark to answer it while he searched for keys.

While pre-occupied Jack didn't notice Mark's face grow more pale then it usually was. Mark muttered a few hurried responses before putting the phone down and batting for the door.

" Who was it? Where are you going?" Seàn questioned, the cabins keys now in his hands.

" I'll meet you at school, I have to go. It was for me, they didn't have my number but they had mine" Mark spoke robotic-like, he was lying.

Jack brushed it off and nodded. He watched the vampire speed into the forest towards town.

Shane stood in the white bathroom adjacent to his room. With his eyes glazed over, they appeared to be glass, motionless and empty. They focused on themselves as they looked in the mirror, the only they gazed into their own soul, the more tears built up.

The red heads thoughts were solely focused on three things, self loathing, the time he spent with Jack and of course, the mess that was his mind. Not to mention his painful wound that still dug in his leg. Turned out being shot with a dodgy shot gun didn't pierce more then a few millimetres of flesh. After the bleeding was stopped the and shrapnel was out, it was bandaged and he was given the all clear to go him. No stitches needed.

Shane felt his chest become heavy and his breath hitch in his throat. With his vision becoming dizzy and a headache coming on fast it became difficult to reach up and wipe the tears as they came. Going to school each day was a challenge for him. Talking to people to people was a mountain to climb. Most of all though, was putting on clothes. Seeing the XL sizes and worrying what people would think if he wore something other than his baggy clothes.
