Mark sighed as he sat on the uncomfortable metal chair he was chained too. The iron had long dig into his flesh on his arms and legs from him struggling to free himself. His rear had gone numb hours ago and the man wanted nothing but to straighten his legs.
Meanwhile Jack was fighting the sleep that plagued his mind. His arm as well had gone to sleep, having it cuffed above your head as you fight unconsciousness is not fun. His legs had long stretched out over the metal sheet that was bolted to the concrete underneath. His other hand holding his ribs that he was scared would clean break after they'd gotten fractured in the mess of things.
Mark was just about to rage quit and try to snap his own god damn neck and Jack was just about to nod off to sleep when they herd the hatch open.
No light stream from the outside world. Not a drop of sunlight. It seemed night time had long taken over.
Shane's footsteps slowly descended the staircase, with Felix following quickly behind.
Jack moved to the side as best he could in favour of not being trampled on by two pairs of feet.
The vampire and human made their way down without giving a second look to the Irishmen. But Felix's eyes were trained on Mark.
Vampires and vampires eyes met in an intense glare.
" We're letting you go Mark" Felix spoke.
Shane learn against the countertop. His arms crossed and butch face emotion spreading across his whole body. He was pissed but wasn't showing it. But the death glares he gave Jack said it all. Shane needed to let out some rage.
" Why?" Mark grunted out, his voice box still not fully repaired.
The vampire shifted in his seat to try and get his butt not so numb. But the efforts were fruitless for the chains wouldn't let him more more than an inch.
" Because you're not the one we're mad at. Sure you've enabled Jack, but no ones ever gone downstairs with you therefore no ones ever had their life ruined by you" Felix said nonchalantly.
Felix said nothing as he began to undo the chains that held the man. A small sliver key was pulled from his pocket and was used to pick off all the locks that held the chain together.
" I'm not leaving without Jack" Mark muttered.
Felix paused, his eyes glancing to Shane and then traveling to Jack
" Mark you stupid bitch, go, they can't hurt me" Jack spat.
The vampire laughed, his wound holding true as he began to cough straight after.
"No but they can kill you".
Felix unlocked the last padlock and stood.
" No one is going to die, murder is over the line".
Mark grumbled in his seat. His legs were completely numb, there wasn't enough blood in him. He would be able to stand much less walk out of here.
" How do I know you're not lying?".
Felix smiled, showing off his white teeth.
" You don't".
Mark gave the man a sour look.
" You've broken me down, I'm surprised I'm still conscious and you expect me to walk?".
Felix crossed his arms and stood back.
" If I give you more blood you'll just kill us".
" I thought murder was over the line?" Mark retorted.
Felix glanced at Shane who gave a small nod. The man would give his blood if needed.
" How do I know you won't attack us though, you're much stronger then me at full power oh old one" Felix almost mocked.
