Night have eloped over the town within the blink of an eye. Coldness has swept over the land with ice. This was not a night that a human could survive outside, or in a cold basement.

Mark leant against the wall, his arms crossed and clenched over his chest. His red hair grew darker in the bright light of the fire in the fireplace. It reflected in his eyes and they seemed more hazel then milky brown.

The vampire watched over Jack who laid across the couch. A fuzzy blanket stretched over his shoulders and back, with heat of the fire to keep his front warm. He was fast asleep, snoring through this teeth shattering.

Mark smiled just a little, Jack was always easily cold. He always complained that he hands burnt when he touched snow. Looking outside, it didn't seem to be much longer before the snow will start sticking to the ground.

Marks smile was ripped off his face as he herd a strangled scream from the other room. Their guest, Felix was having a nightmare. Ever since he'd arrived earlier in the day, his hours had been filled with waking slumber and sleeping visions filled with that which made him scream.

As the yells pierced through the brick walls Mark couldn't help but frown down at Sean this time. The Irishmen was sleeping as peacefully as any other night, a small grin on his face as his body shivered, his hands held to his chest.

'He's probably used to the screams, no doubt he would keep people overnight' Mark thought grimly.

The vampire inwardly flinched as he herd a yell that sounded more real, a scream that only could be brought on my real physical pain.
Mark sprang out from his casual leaning pose to take long strides to the guest room.

At the door Mark listened, his cold hand on the even colder door knob. It had town quiet, too quiet. For a few beats the vampire thought that the Swedish man was just dreaming after all.
When another pained grunt came from inside Mark knew something was wrong.

The vampire twisted the door knob so violently it broke in his hands. The door swung open equally violently. Mark stopped it from hitting the wall, he shut it behind him as he walked in.

Felix was no longer in the bed, but on the floor huddled, his limbs holding each other. His white hair stood on every angle and his face buried between in knees.

Mark made his way to the man steadily, carefully, the last thing he wanted to do was strangle him.

And to think, that the last time they saw each other, they were at each other's throats.

"Felix?" Mark asked.

At the call of his name, he looked up. His crystal eyes pierced through Marks soul like diamond spears. The mans face was screwed up in agony.

Mark neared closer to see that Felix was gripping his stomach, pale fingers digging into his shirt and skin. He knew what that meant.

" When's the last time you ate?" Mark questioned.

Felix diverted his eyes for a few seconds before shaking his head.
" Haven't" was the only word that mutely passed his lips.

Mark knelt down to try and console the man, he had to convince him to hunt. Hopefully animals, but then again, the Korean man wouldn't be able to stop him if he were to go for other prey. Mark was about to reach his hand out to put it on Felix's shoulder, but the vampire flinched away. His hands flying up to shield himself.
The red head felt his heart drop as he saw that in Felix's left hand he held a knife, it was no longer then the palm on his hand. It looked sharp and, used.
