Sean's shoes scuffed on the floor of the school as he entered. He held his head high as he saw that anyone who had a rep in the School cowering away from him. It was empowering to have others almost bow at his feet at his command, just because they knew what he did in his spare time.
Because only people who experience it know.

Soon enough Jack saw Mark who, this time, leant against his locker instead of choosing his weapon out of it. The red head had his hands shoved in his pockets and one leg propped against the wall.

For a moment the human was about to turn his head up at him, but-

" Tomorrow you're afraid of me".

So instead Jack made it apparent to not make eye contact with the man, turned his head away. Fear laced in his eyes as he remembered how easily Mark had overpowered him last night, without even breaking a sweat.

" Sean" Mark spoke aloud.

Jack stopped mid stride, no one called him that outside of his home.

The tension between Jack and Mark had caught the interest of Dan, who was standing amongst his punk group. The new asset being Tyler, who stood out like a sore thumb with his lighter clothing.

Jack slowly made his way over to Mark, keeping his head bowed and his eyes diverted. His hands in plain sight and his breaths quiet.

Mark observed the boy's attitude to being called by his birth name. It had annoyed him, but he would throw that out the window when spoken to someone he was afraid of.

Just like he had done with his mother.

" Walk to class with me" Mark ordered more then requested.

The two then made their way down the halls, just as they had done any other day. They walked in silence, this time Mark being the one who was content. And jack brimming with questions he didn't dare ask.

Dan watched them with a questioning gaze until they walked out of sight. The boy returned his attention to Phil, who was asking him a silly question.

Why would Sean of all people be afraid of Mark?

Jack walked Mark all the way to his class before leaving for his. But before the smaller one could turn away to go about his business, yet again his arm was grabbed gently. But the human didn't give a disgusted reaction like before, but rather shivered slightly from fear.

" Meet me behind the gym after school" Mark demanded.

Jack simply nodded, awaiting to be released to that he could get to class. The boy tuned and rubbed the back of his neck as he took small, fast strides to his class.

He passed Tyler and Shane who were both waiting for class to start. They both saw how that the great and feared Jack was acting so scared at a simple touch from Mark.

The two students shared a worried glances before the bell went and the class door opened.

Shane sat between Tyler and Dan in math, it wasn't his choice, it was seating plan. Usually the air was tense and uncomfortable. Today Dan seemed to be contemplating something of his own, while Tyler was hurriedly going along with his work. Shane sat, feeling slightly awkward as he fidgeted with his clothing.

Memories of what happened last night at the cabin between Mark and Jack flooded his mind. Shane had so many questions.
Why was Mark there?
Why did he have a big fucking knife?
Why did Jack seem to frightened by him?
It couldn't be because of the big fucking knife, Shane's seen Jack street fight a guy who had a similar knife and win with his bare hands.
...
Okay maybe he had a smaller knife, but it makes for a good click bait.
