Hey so I'm suspended from school again (nothing new) so like expect a lot of updates because I have all the time in the world.

-
I woke up to the sound of the faucet running in the bathroom next to my bedroom. I stretched my arms out, pulling the pink blankets from my body, then walked out.

"Amelia?" I called out for my three year old daughter.

I know it sounds bad, I'm 18. I had Amelia when I was just 15 years old, I was drunk at a party then me and my boyfriend at the time made a mistake, but she's by far the best mistake ever. I got kicked out of my house for being pregnant at such a young age, so I found my own place with the help of my friends.

It was nothing special, but it was enough. It was more like a cottage, it had little pavement steps, leading into the outskirts of town, luckily for us, I had a car. So we got round fast.

I had the option to live with my aunt in North Carolina, but that meant leaving all of my friends, so I didn't move there. My aunt is very supportive, she comes down sometimes, at Christmas and stuff. She sends us money every week, $150 to be exact, $300 when it's one of our birthdays, Easter, thanksgiving or Christmas.

Amelia and I's father split up, he left me when I got pregnant and moved away with his family to England. I never heard from him again. But Amelia was doing just fine without one, she was a very smart girl, my girl.

"Yeah mommy?" She asked, she had an American accent from living here her own life, unlike me who had as much as a British accent you can get.

"What are you doing?" I asked, opening the door to the bathroom.

She was stood on her pink step, washing her hands.

"I just went for a pee, so I had to wash them duh." She said with a cheeky smile.

I shook my head with a smile as she dried her hands off, then we walked to her room to get her ready for daycare. It was a Monday, which meant I had to go to school. I'm on my last year of high school, senior year started last week, so yep, I've got another year in hell ahead.

I put her in a white floral dress with her light pink converse, then I put her hair in a little bun. I went to go get myself dressed after, I put on some white ripped jeans with a black crop top and my black vans. Then did my hair and makeup.

We had eggos for breakfast, then walked out of the house and got in the car, after dropping Amelia off at day care, I drove to school, parking in the parking lot.

"Millieee!" My best friend, Sadie cheered, running up to me and giving me a hug.

"Hey Sades." I said with a wide smile as I hugged her back.

"I heard there's a new boy today. Apparently he's so hot." Sadie said which made me playfully roll my eyes.

"Sadie, your with Dolton." I said, slapping her arm.

"I don't mean for me, I mean for you!" She said, which made me gasp.

"No way. Nope nope nope." I refused, slinging my backpack over my shoulder.

"Come on Mills, if he's hot and kind, or even just kind and takes an interest in you at all take the chance. You haven't dated for three years, don't you think it's time you loosen up a little?" She asked, as we walked down the corridor filled with students.

"The last time I 'let loose a little' I got pregnant, so that's a no." I said.

We approached homeroom with Mr Keery. We sat down at our desks, then started talking again.

"But Amelia is a good thing, she's like amazing. She's by far the best thing that's ever happened to you, don't fight me on that." She stated.

"I aren't going to fight you on that because I agree with you. But I aren't ready for a relationship, plus once this so called boy finds out I have a kid he's gonna bolt." I said, she rolled her eyes.

Homeroom flew by, then we were on our way to history. Sadie and I had all lessons together which was a bonus, the only classes we had with our other friends was art and music. The things we actually enjoy.

History dragged, literally. We were only there for an hour but to me it felt like a decade.

-time skip to lunch-

It was now lunch, Sadie and I were the first ones at the table, then Maddie and Grace. Maddie sat opposite me as always, eating salted Pringles.

"Sup hoe." She said with a smile.

"Hey bitch." I replied, sticking my hand in her Pringle tube and stealing about 5.

Then Noah and Caleb approached the table, with a guy I haven't seen before. He had black curly hair and very dark eyes, I didn't realise I was stuck in a daze until Noah started speaking.

"Girls, this is Finn, Finn this is Maddie, Grace, Sadie and Millie." Noah said.

Finn gave us a little wave, then Gaten came to the table, he seemed to already know who Finn was. Finn sat between Noah and Sadie.

"Are we still on for your house tonight, Mills?" Grace asked me, I nodded.

Everyone always came round to my house to hang out, we would plan it for ages, it was always so fun, like a group thing.

"Always. Finn you can come too if you want to." I said.

"Id love to put I have to help my parents get the house sorted as we aren't fully done yet, but thanks for the offer." He said with a smile.

A gorgeous fucking smile, but I can't think like that. I have to think about my daughter and what she needs, not what I need. I put her first, I always have and I always will.

I don't want Amelia growing up feeling unwanted, so I show her how much I love her every opportunity I get.

And I aren't willing to get my heartbroken by a boy again, nor trust them. I'm just going to get my mind off it, I need to stop thinking about this.

He probably isn't thinking about me anyways, he probably has his eye on one of the popular girls like Loren Beech or Iris Apatow. Not me, plus even if he did have his eye on me, they'd turn straight away once he finds out about Amelia. they always do.

Teenage Boys aren't willing to give yo their fun to stay and parent, I learnt that the hard way, i'd rather stick to the easy route.

"Whatcha thinking about?" Sadie whispered from the side of me.

"Oh nothing." I said back with a smile. "Just wondering what Amelia is up to."

She gave me a disbelieving look, she didn't buy it. She knows what I'm thinking about. She reads me like a book. We have known each other for that long lies don't even fool each other, we know what's wrong.
