My mom told me she doesn't want me out after dark because of 'Romeo'. He escaped prison earlier today, which meant he was probably out to get me, Millie was aware, so she told me she's locked everything in her house, just like I made her do.

Suddenly I got an idea, I don't like disobeying my mom, but if its helping a friend I'm going to have to. I locked my door before opening my bedroom window and climbing out. I ran to the park as I was already 15 minutes late to meet Sadie.

As I approached the park gates, I seen Sadie. She turned around to face me.

"What took you so long? We're running out of time." She said as we began walking to what I suppose is Caleb's house.

"My mom doesn't want me out after dark with this whole Romeo thing that's going on." I said, rolling my eyes.

"Ohhh, so bad boy snuck out." She said with a laugh.

"Shut up and let's go help Caleb." I said, shoving her a little.

We approached Calebs house, it was at the other end of town. We walked to the back of his house and Sadie looked up at the window.

"Right, I need you to push me up." She said, I looked at her like she was crazy.

"Sadie! We aren't breaking into his fucking house!" I panicked and dropped her by accident.

"Oh my gosh. I could of been in there by now if I'd of brought Noah." She rolled her eyes.

"Then you should of brought Noah!" I said.

"Well he doesnt know a lot about drugs like you do, addict." She jokingly said, I put a hand on my chest, being falsely offended.

"Um, recovered addict. Thank you very much. I worked hard to stop myself, so give me some credit, asshole." I said with a smirk, then pushed her up.

She climbed on the steps after I lifted her up, then made her way on Calebs balcony. I followed her actions, then soon enough I was there too. She slid his window open and got in, nobody was in his room.

"Caleb usually gets back around 11pm when he's at work, which he is. So we need to hurry up, since you were late." She said.

"Jesus sorry I got stabbed in the woods, protecting your best friend and her daughter from a fucking psychopath who millie just so happened to have sex with and then have a child, then he turned psycho and stabbed me so my mom is worried. My apologies." I said all in one breath.

"Okay god sorry." She said, then opened his drawers.

"You look like you know this place pretty well Si-" she cut me off.

"What are these?" She asked, pulling some pills out of the drawer.

"That my friend is tramadol, it's not that much of a bad drug but it is easy to overdose with, so.. you might wanna take it away from him." I said, she nodded and put it in her backpack.

In Caleb's room there were about 10 other drugs, so we took them all, not literally took, but I mean we put them in our bags. After the clock hit 10:50, we got out of the window and ran down the street.

"Finn, we have bags full of illegal drugs we need to get rid of these." She said, I agreed.

"Umm, there's the river?" I said, she nodded.

We walked to the river, then dumped them all in there. After we decided to go home, Sadie's house was on the way to my house, so I walked her home, then snuck back in my house through my bedroom window.

I landed on my bed when I got up, then quickly shut my window, stopping the cold from getting in. I walked into my bathroom and took my clothes off, just leaving me in my boxers. I brushed my teeth and washed my face, before jumping in my bed and putting the covers over me.

I scrolled through Instagram, then snapchat. Sadie text me.

Sadie: hey, do you think Caleb will notice all of his drugs have gone?

Finn: go to sleep 😂 do you think he will know? Sadie we took 10 whole packs of them, he is bound to find out bout it, but he won't know it's us.

Sadie: okay good. Night

Finn: night Sink 😝

I looked at Millie's Instagram, she had just uploaded a picture of her and Amelia laid in her bed. Millie was smiling and Amelia was asleep, hugging Millie. I double tapped it to like, then put my phone down on my nightstand.

My bedroom door opened, revealing Brooklyn. She was in her pyjamas and she was crying with her teddy bear in her hand.

"What's wrong?" I asked her, turning on my lamp and sitting up.

"I-I had a d-dream that the boy h-hurt you again a-and I don't want I-it to happen. So c-can I sleep in h-here with you?" She sobbed, hugging her teddy to her chest.

"Yeah of course, come right here." I said, parting the spot next to me.

"Thanks Finnie." She said, wiping her tears then getting in bed with me.

"I won't get hurt again." I said.

"Good, if he hurts you. You'll hurt him back, right?" She said, I nodded.

"Now go to sleep, night Brook." I said.

"Night." She said, then fell asleep, as did I.

Amelia threw the puzzle pieces in the air with a massive sigh, her blonde pigtails flopped on top of her head as it moved.

"Finn, I give up!" She said, I shook my head.

"Like I said before, we don't give up we try again." I said, picking the jigsaw pieces back up. "Now try again, look, if this is the cows nose, what goes on top of it?"

"Its eyes?" She asked, I nodded.

"Exactly so find its eyes and put it at the top of its nose." I said, she found its eyes and placed it there. "Now the mouth is underneath, so find its mouth and put it in place."

Soon enough she was on a role with the whole jigsaw, so I walked in the kitchen to see Millie sat at the table on her phone.

"Did you get her to do it?" She asked, putting her phone down to look at me.

"Finally, yes." I said, she smiled.

"Thank you." She said, leaning her head on my shoulder.

"You're welcome." I said with a smile.

She suddenly moved her head up and connected her lips with mine, I was shocked at her actions, but never the less, continued to kiss her back. She grabbed my cheeks to pull me closer. I put my hand on her waist as our mouths opened and closed into it.

"Oh shoot!!" We heard someone say, we quickly pulled away and seen Maddie, Sadie, Caleb, Gaten, Noah and Grace at the kitchen door.

My face instantly went red, I'm sure Millie's was too, but I didn't dare look at her, because I know I'd blush even more.

"Oh. Amelia must be almost done with her puzzle." I said, avoiding the awkwardness as i walked back into the living room to see Amelia still sat at the table. "Hey, have you nearly finished?"

"Just nearly." She said, then put the last two pieces in.

"Good job!" I said, then gave her a high five.

I'm so happy at the moment, and nothing can change my mood.
