I woke up to someone jumping on my bed, I opened my eyes with a groan to see Sadie. I rolled over and put my blanket over my head.

"Mills, come on! Get ready, I have to take you somewhere special." Sadie said.

"Sadie it's Sunday, just let me sleep." I said, she pulled the blanket off my face and shook her head.

"Come on, Millie! You will prefer this to sleeping. Grace, Sahar and I are going to help you get ready." She said, I turned my head to see Grace and Sahar stood there smiling at me.

"Okay, but you owe me." I said, Sadie squealed and jumped up.

"Okay, so it's a beautiful day today, so we're gonna go for the summer look." Sahar said, going through my closet as I sat at the end of my bed. "Oh! This!"

Sahar pulled out a white one-piece, which I have only wore once for a party. Grace picked out my all black vans and they both gave them to me. I picked out some clean underwear then went into the bathroom to change. Why are they trying to get me all dressed up?

After I got changed into my outfit and brushed my teeth, I looked in the mirror. I didn't look bad, I looked kinda nice. I smiled at my appearance and walked out of the bathroom, they all gasped.

"Millie, you look gorgeous!!" Sadie squealed.

"You look like a literal queen, seriously." Grace complimented.

"Okay, slay it. Jack is coming to do your makeup. He should be here at any minute." Sahar said, just then the doorbell rung. Sadie went to answer it and two minutes later, her and Jack came up the stairs.

Sadie curled my hair while Jack applied foundation. He did my contour, and a pink, glittery cut crease on my eye, followed by some pink lipstick and really nice high lighter. I couldn't help but still think, why am I so fucking dressed up?

"You look perfect babe." Jack said, standing me up. I smiled at him.

"Now it's time to go, come on." Grace squeals, grabbing my hand.

We walked out of the door and got into Sadie's new car, which was a white Range Rover.

"Okay, first we're taking you to breakfast. Then we're taking you to your surprise at 12pm. Are you excited?" Sadie asked as she pulled out of my drive.

"Yes. But why are you all doing this?" I asked.

"It's a special occasion, you just don't know the reason why yet." Jack said.

We pulled into the place we were having breakfast, it was a really nice place. It was a white room with a bunch of coffee quotes on the walls. We sat at a table, and the strong smell of coffee beans and pancakes filled the air. A waitress that looked around our age walked up to us, her name tag read Brynn.

"Hey, what can I get you today?" She asked with a big smile.

We all ordered our food, and soon enough it came. We all ate, I messaged my mum to check up on Amelia, she was doing fine. They were going to the zoo today she told me. My mum was bringing her back at 9pm ready for school tomorrow. I ate my pancakes which I ordered, as everyone else ate there's.

Soon we finished, so we went to the mall until 12. We bought some new clothes, and dropped them all off at my house after. Jack touched up my makeup a little when we got back, then we headed to my surprise.

They put a white blindfold over my eyes, which I was confused about. I felt us get out of Sadie's car. We were walking somewhere. I was pretty worried at first, but then I realised that these are my best friends and they wouldn't hurt me.

"Okay, are you ready to look?" Sadie asked, I nodded.

She took my blindfold off and I couldn't believe my eyes. I was at Lovers Lake. Lovers Lake is a place where you if you have a special lover. Someone that loves you has to bring you to this place. I have always wanted to go, but Romeo never took me.

Fairy lights were hung on the trees, and the lake was in the shape of a heart. There were white benches and pink roses, just like the pictures. But again, why am I here? I looked forward to see Gaten and Kelsey, stood together holding some sort of banner. Caleb and Noah were stood holding two white poles each. I furrowed my eyebrows while smiling.

"What is happening?" I asked with a laugh.

"Three! Two! One!" Kelsey and Gaten counted down, then they let the banner loose.

Tears built up in my eyes at the sight. The banner was a collage of pictures. That were me and Finn. There was the picture of when Finn, Amelia and I went to the mall and Finn was pulling the duck face and Amelia was laughing at him. There was one that Sadie took of us, sleeping on my bed. There was the one where Finn was kissing me on the cheek and many more. In the middle, was the words I have been waiting for, for so long.

Will you go to the dance with me.... as my girlfriend?

Finn walked out from behind the tree with a smile on his face, he was holding a big pink bear, and a little one in his hands. The big one had an M written on it, the little one had an A written on it. My heart melted at the sight.

"Yes, of course I will!" I cried of happiness as I hugged him.

Caleb and Noah pulled the white tubes, making red confetti fly out. I put my hands on Finns cheeks and smashed my lips to his as I heard everyone cheering. He picked me up and spun me around, we both had huge smiles on our faces, everyone here did.

"Finnie, this is amazing thank you so much." I cried, hugging him again.

"Anything for you. It wouldn't have been possible without our amazing friends. Sadie told me how much you have always wanted to go to Lovers Lake so I thought I'd ask you here. I hope you like it." He smiled, I kissed his cheek.

"I love it, and I love you even more." I said as he wiped my cheeks.

"I love you way more." He said.

This has by far been the best day of my life. He handed me my bear, then handed me the little one.

"This one is for you, clearly. The M stands for Millie. This one is for Amelia, the A stands for Amelia because you both mean a lot to be and I couldn't leave her out." He said.

"You're truly amazing, Finnie." I said.

"I try my hardest."

I can't believe he is now actually my boyfriend and we are going to the dance together. I'm so happy about it. He is truly a gift from god, and I will never be able to thank him enough for the things he has done, for both me and my daughter.

I will forever love him for being such an awesome, handsome and caring human being. I bet his parents are so proud of him.
