A/N: I said I'd post today, so I did. I know the last one wasn't that exciting, but this one is filled with Jenzie (the next one is too).
If you didn't already know, the previous chapter was originally conjoined with this, however, it was too long. So I thought splitting it in half was the best idea.
I was thinking of writing another story while writing this one bc I have so many ideas in my brain, it might explode!
One more thing, I edited the previous chapters a little, fixing the grammar and stuff. I also might change the title of this story, bc I don't rlly like it. Tell me what you think?
Anyways... Enjoy this chapter!
MACKENZIE'S POV:
(In the school halls, right next to the boy's bathroom).
Once I open the door, I see Johnny, several cans of spray paint and the letters 'F OFF' plastered on the wall.
I gasp "What were you thinking?!"
Johnny looks at me, ashamed, but I can tell he didn't regret vandalizing the bathroom wall.
"Why?" I spit at him, with hurt in my voice, "Why would you do this. You can get expelled!"
"That's why I did it, Kenz!" Johnny exclaimed. For what seemed like forever, but probably only lasted for 30 seconds, he just stared at me.
I did too, except my stare had a disgusted face painted on it.
I was disappointed in him, I thought he'd changed. But he's still just a bad boy--and a player.
I don't think we'd work out. As friends, even. That is if he wanted to be my friend.
I later break the gaze by scoffing and looking away. I know, it was a little harsh, but he deserved it!
The teacher shouted from outside the bathroom door "Johnny and Mackenzie, you guys can come out now."
"Oh no," I mutter under my breath, still loud enough for Johnny to hear.
"What do we do now?!" Johnny whisper-screams at me.
He had the nerve to say 'we'. Was he joking?!
"We won't do anything. You're going to go back to class and I will fix this," I bluntly answer to Johnny, putting air-quotes around the 'we'.
"Should I come in?" the teacher asks.
"No?" Johnny says, but it came out more as a question rather than a statement.
I quickly grab Johnny's arm and whisper into his beautiful ear "Leave. Now. And don't tell him that I'm here. I'll clean this up."
He gave me this weird look, like the words that came out of my mouth were shocking.
He started towards the door and quickly looked back at me and mouthed a 'thank you'.
It made my heart skip.
Overall, my first, and hopefully last--experience in the boy's experience wasn't that bad. But it smelled very bad in there.
Once he left the washroom, I peeked through the door to watch Johnny and the teacher leave. Once they did, I raced out of the boy's bathroom and hurried to my locker. Which was thankfully 30 seconds away.
I instantly cracked the code to my locker and opened it up, revealing the messy inside of my locker.
I grabbed some nail polish remover from my backpack and ran back to the boy's bathroom, not caring to lock my locker. If anyone saw the vandalism on the wall, they'd march straight to the principal's office.
