A/N: Double update YASS! I think Y'all will like this chapter ;)

MACKENZIE'S POV:

( Previously:

I quickly pull Johnny into a hug, slightly crying into his shoulder. The neck of his shirt was now wet, but I didn't care. His chin was resting on the top of my head, while his arms were wrapped around me.

I whisper into his ear, "I love it." It came out sounding a little seductive. But I'm sure he didn't notice.

Using his thumb, he played with my hair. He breathed out an "I know."

I couldn't see his face, but I already knew there was a smirk there. )

*End of flashback*

I heard the group of guests say in unison, "aww."

I immediately pulled away, giving the group an awkward glare. I placed the hoodie back in the bag, trying to ignore the uncomfortable stares that were on me.

After a couple of seconds, everyone went back to doing their own thing, leaving me alone.

Nadia walked up to me, grabbing her chair and bringing it closer to me. I turned my attention towards her, handing her a warm smile.

I haven't texted her in a while. Maddie told her about the birthday party, not me. "So, how's everything going?" She starts.

I quickly glance over at Johnny, who was right beside me. He was chatting with Jack about god knows what. I brought my concentration back to Nadia, answering her question.

"Good," I grin. "And you?"

She hesitated for a second but spoke. "I found a guy back at my old school, his name is Darius. I think I've been falling for him." (There's no Jadia in this story. If I ever did write Jadia, I think I'd barf a little. And I don't feel like barfing :) ).

I nod my head, letting her know that I'm listening and I understand what she means.

She handed me a cute little smirk, asking a rather uncomfortable question. "Any boys in your life?"

I immediately tensed up. What do I say? I felt Johnny's eyes shoot up at Nadia and I, once Nadia asked the question. I can't say yes, because that would give too much away. But I can't so no either, because that would be lying.

I shrugged, dodging the question.

Nadia narrowed her eyes, studying my facial expression. I tried to keep my face neutral, I still couldn't help but blush. She noticed my pink cheeks and continued to interrogate me. "What about you and that guy over there?" She pointed Johnny, who still had his eyes on us. "Everyone saw the hug. What was that about?"

Johnny was smirking, a usual. I did the first thing I could think of- and whispered into Nadia's ear. "It's complicated."

I backed away from her ear, sending her a nervous look. Maybe I could look to her for advice? Annie and Maddie aren't any help anymore. I certainly didn't want to explain the whole story from the beginning, that would just take forever.

Nadia nodded her head in understanding. "I see. It's a sensitive subject."

I handed her a weak smile, meaning she was correct. Johnny was listening to our conversation, I couldn't really say much.

"I won't push," Nadia clarified.

Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Kalani giving Johnny a death glare. Once Johnny saw it, he just looked confused.
