A/N: Yay! Another imagine! More fluff, and stuff! Enjoy!

Y/N's POV

To say that Bucky and I weren't on "good terms" was an understatement. We are almost always on our toes whenever we were near each other, and no one could understand why.

One offensive comment from the first time we had met had ruined a potentially wonderful relationship, and everything went downhill from there. But aside from my irritation at the man, a part of me cared for him, much deeper than I wished to admit. I had slowly grown feelings for the former Winter Soldier, and the thought of him finding out made my body burn in embarrassment.

My face blushed a light red at the thought of my secret crush being revealed, as I made a cup of coffee early one morning while the others were still asleep. At least, I thought everyone was asleep. Footsteps echoed off the floor behind me, and I tensed as I turned to look over my shoulder.

"I didn't expect you to be an early bird."

"Mm." Bucky let out a grunt as he pulled out a cup out of the pantry.

"Coffee?" I asked, holding up the pot with my freehand. His blue eyes flickered up to mine, causing my heart to skip a beat as they focused on. me.

"Yes." He stretched out his metal arm to take it from me, but I moved it out of his reach with a smirk. His expression shifted to one of annoyance. "Y/N... give me the pot."

"How bad do you want it?" I teased, moving closer to the sink as I play with the lid.

"Just give me my fucking coffee." Bucky growled, as he took a step closer to me. A jolt of electricity ran up my spine at his tone and as he grew closer to me, and I wanted to stretch it out further.

"Come on, Barnes." I took the lid off and started to tilt the pot to the side. His eyes grew darker with anger.

"Don't you dare."

"Try me, James." I drawled out his name, before I turned the pot upside down and watched the brown liquid start to go down the drain.

"Don't!" A hard force struck my hand and my fingers released the pot. It missed the sink and dropped onto the ground, shattering into a million fragments. A cold hand grasped my wrist tightly, and I gasped as I looked up to meet Bucky's intense gaze, inches from mine.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!"

"Let go." I whispered, but he ignored me as he pulled me closer to his chest.

"Why do you do this to me? Why do you fucking torment me at any moment that you want?" Bucky hissed, and I felt all the excitement that I previously felt evaporate as he continued to speak. "I don't want to do this anymore! You drive me fucking insane!"

"I'm sorry you can't put up with me!" I narrowed my eyes as I glared at him. "I'm sorry that I gave you a reason to treat me like shit from the moment I joined this team. But I tried. I tried my hardest to make you like me, and to be more than just a person you have to live with. "

My anger slowly started to dissipate and it was replaced with sadness as words began to spill uncontrollably from my lips. "I...I don't hate you, Buck. I couldn't ever hate you. I actually really like you. Like, more than friends. But I can't do this anymore. I'm going to put my resignation from the Avengers on Fury's office in a few hours, and I'll pack my bags and go, so you won't have to deal with me anymore. You're welcome."

"Y/N-"

"Get your hands off of me!" I snapped, and yanked away from his grip, and he let go as soon as I spoke. I stumbled forward, and my left food stepped on the shattered glass on the floor. I let out a small cry of pain as I immediately hopped backwards on my good foot. "Ow! Fuck!"

"Y/N?" I could hear the concern in Bucky's voice, but I couldn't care. All I wanted was to get away from him.

"Don't." I muttered, trying to disguise my discomfort as I moved towards one of the kitchen chairs. "I got this. Just get me the First AID kit." His flesh arm gently wrapped around my waist, and I sighed in annoyance as I turned to look at him. "Really?"

"Just let me help you." His voice was gentle, and it almost sounded like he was begging.

"Fine. Just get me to the table."

Thirty minutes later, Bucky had removed the three shards of the glass pot that had pierced my foot, and was in the process of wrapping my foot with a bandage. I could feel his eyes on me, but I kept my focus elsewhere, taking notice of the sunrise that was beginning to show through the windows. "Can we at least talk about it, Y/N?"

"What is there to say?" I mumbled, but didn't take my eyes away from where I was looking.

"There is everything to talk about." His hand touched mine, and I jumped slightly as I turned to look at him. His blue eyes were full of mixed emotions. "I didn't know you liked me."

"It doesn't matter." I shrugged. "It's too late now."

"Says who?" Bucky asked, confused. "We're not on a fixed timeline, doll. It's not like your days are numbered."

"No." I shake my head. "But I'm so embarrassed that it came out this way. And I know you hate me, so I know that you couldn't possibly feel-"

My sentence was cut off by the most softest pair of lips that I had ever felt. My eyes fluttered shut as I kissed him back gently, our lips moving in sync with each others for a few moments before he pulled away. I opened my eyes and met his a few inches from mine.

"I don't hate you." Bucky whispered and I couldn't help but smile. "I never did, and I never will hate you. I felt a connection from the day we first met, but I was scared that I would hurt you and the connections that I had with HYDRA would put your life at risk, so I pushed you away. And I realize now that that was the biggest mistake I've ever made."

"You could never hurt me." I said softly, and kissed his forehead gently before pulling back. "I know you wouldn't."

"Y/N..." Bucky's blue eyes showed doubt, and I shook my head.

"I don't want to fight anymore." I took his metal hand in mine and squeezed it softly. "I'm just glad that we got to talk about all of this."

"And there's still more that we need to talk about." Bucky sighed, as our fingers intertwined. "There's a lot of risk that could come with this and-"

"You're worth it, Buck." I smiled. "Absolutely. 100%. I'm not going anywhere."

"Good." He leaned in and kissed me once again. "How's the foot?"

"I'll survive. I've had worse."

"Well... I guess we'll have to buy a new coffee pot." Bucky gave a goofy smile and I laughed.

"Tony has a lot of money. He can afford to buy one more coffee pot." I winked playfully. "But I owe you a cup of coffee. Starbucks? My treat?"

"Sounds lovely, doll. It's a date."
