Satoko woke up in her bed. She was confused how she even got to her home. She got up and jawned. Her phone said it was 1 PM. She slept quite a lot probably.
She sloppily got out of bed, immidiately going to the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror. It was quite a while since she last combed her hair. It was very thick, black and it knotted easily. It looked like she was a lion.
But did she care?
No, she in fact did not.
She didn't brush her teeth or hair, she just went to do her duty. She went down the stairs to her couch, where she usually sat. Her stomach growled. She guessed she could eat some more. Naoki told her she gained weight, but she didn't care much. She went in the kitchen to grab that extra hamburger. When she went to the table, she screamed as she saw a white figure sitting at her table.
"Good morning to you too." Shiro grinned at her.
She sighed in relief. It was only him.
"What the hell are you doing here anyway?" Satoko asked him, genuinely confused.
He blushed.
"Uhm, you don't remember?" He questioned awkwardly.
"No, what happened?" She questioned.
"Uh, you became, um, all cuddly, a-and..."
Satoko's face went red. She covered her face with her hair, looking very embarrassed.
"And then you didn't let me out of your room, so I had to sleep with y-" Satoko cut him off.
"This isn't going out to anyone! You get me?! Especially-" her panicky state was interrupted by Shiro.
"Naoki?" Shiro finished her sentence.
She blushed even more. She looked enraged. Him getting her so embarrassed made her angry.
"Yes. Especially not him." She looked at the floor.
She wanted to bring her eyes back to him, but then they got stuck on freshly cooked food on the table. Her eyes gleamed as she sat on the table. She noticed both of them had two dishes, one for each. The food she ate was absolutely delicious. She kept putting food in her mouth, being oddly excited to be eating something so tasty. For some reason Shiro found it cute.
"Where did you get this?" She asked him in wonder.
"I made this... I bought you some veggies and shit. Your fridge can't be filled with only hamburgers." He told her, a bit surprised how she still only ate those hamburgers.
Satoko looked at him in surprise. He made this? How was he so talented? She never ate something so good since Hana died.
"You made this?" She asked in bewilderment, her light brown eyes looking like they'll jump out.
"Um, yeah, it's not a big deal..." He stumbled, blushing at her amazement.
"How did you learn to cook?" Satoko asked him, for some reason very interested in this.
"Uh, um, my dad taught me." He explained, looking uncomfortable with this topic.
"Was he a cook?" Satoko was clueless.
"He... Owned a restaurant." He said that sentence, sounding oddly pained saying it.
"He doesn't anymore?" She continued peering, making him look very uncomfortable being there.
"Yeah, now it's something else." It looked like he choose his words very specifically.
"What is it now?" His uncomfortableness seemed to make her only want to ask more questions.
