Killian's POV
After what happened yesterday I had to keep my eye on Emma. So like every half hour or so I would go and check up on her. I had to make sure she was okay. I worried whats gonna happen next. I dont want people to take Emma away. I cant lose her I dont really understand why, but I just cant.
"Killian stop watch Emma and come downstairs." My dad says.
I gave her one more glance and then headed downstairs.
"What is it? Is Emma going to be okay?" I ask.
"Well I called around all night. Still nothing, but theres a chance Emma might have to go. My dad says.
"No. She cant leave she just cant. I promised her I would protect her." I say.
"And letting her go might be the only way to do that. Look Im sorry. Just be prepared if I cant help her." He says.
I was angry I walked upstairs and slammed the guest room door shut. There has to be a way and I will find it.
"Killian? Are you okay?" Emma asks.
"Yeah Im fine. I just dont want it to come to you leaving. How did this happen away?" I ask.
"Ahh thats a question worth asking. See James is 6 years older then me. So when are parents died he became one of my guardians. Thats when my life turned upside down." She says and sits on the bed.
"Wait... You said one of you guardians. Is there another?" I ask.
"Well yes there was, but I havent heard from him in so long. He is James' twin David. They are identical except David has a scare on his chin from a game gone wrong. Well that and David is so kind and so gentle. If he was my guardian I would have never been hurt." She says.
"Then we find him. Tell him what happened. Make him deal with James for hurting you. Wait... Why'd he leave?" I ask.
"Oh he left for college to give us a better life. I told me he would be back and we could be better. That was 5 years ago when I was 12 and Im 17 now. He hasnt come back and I havent heard from him." She says.
"Well if he is still out there we will find him. We will make sure he knows whats happened to you. Swan I will protect you. I promised and I will keep that promise." I say.
I placed my hand on her cheek and looked into her eye. I dont know if what Im feeling is friendship or something more. Then again its doesnt matter she has Neal, but that ass hasnt done shit for her.... Emma Swan is my friend and I love her... Like her. I like her.... Yeah thats it. I love Emma.... Like Emma... Ugh what is that?
