Chapter 23

Killian's POV

What the hell is wrong with me? In my head I tell Emma I love her and I just cant seem to do that to her face. I guess deep down I dont want what happened with Milah to happen again. I know Emma would never do that, but you never know.

"I love you. I love you. I really love you. I love you." I say in the mirror.

"God damn it Killian again? Why must you always look at yourself and say those words?" Liam questions.

"Oh shut up. Im not tell myself I love me. I trying to tell Emma I love her." I say.

"Well this might be alittle out there, but shouldnt Emma be here for that?" He asks.

"Shut up. I havent been about to say it to her face. I dont know why, but I know I do love her." I say.

"Well then you better tell her quickly." He says.

"Why?" I ask.

"Well according to some people around school Neal knows. He knows you havent told Emma you love her yet and he plans to get into her head and try to tell her you never will love her." He says.

"God what a jackass. I need to go." I say.

I left the house and headed over to Emma's. When I got there David answered the door.

"Oh look its you." David says.

"What? Did I do something?" I ask.

"Yeah. You made Emma want to really stay here and now Neal is bothering her and James showed back up. This wouldnt be happening if we had left." He says.

"I thought you wanted her to finish school with her friends? I thought I wasnt the reason she staid." I say.

"Well thats true. Its just easier to blame you." He says.

"Okay... Is she here?" I ask.

"Yeah in her room. Hey could you stay with her for the next couple hours? I have some errands to run." He says.

"Sure." I say.

"Thanks." He says.

He let me in as he left and I went up to Emma's room and she was just studying.

"Hey Swan. Can we talk for a moment?" I ask.

"Sure whats up?" Emma asks putting her stuff down.

"Well its about us." I say.

"Oh no. Please dont be saying its over. Killian you know I love you and I dont care if you cant say that yet." She says walking over to me.

"Love thats not it. I came to say that I heard Neal is planning on trying to break us up, but telling you I never will love you.... The thing is my love I do." I say.

"Okay.... Not to be pushy, but you do what?" She asks.

"Oh I think you already know that answer." I say.

"I do, but I want to her you say it. You came this far. Try to go all the way. Just look at me dont think about anything else. Just tell me how you feel." She says.

"I feel happy when Im with you and I dont want to be with anyone but you Swan." I say.

"And whys that?" She asks.

"Because..... I love you." I say.

"Well there it is... And I love you too." She says.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and I placed my lips to hers. After that kiss things got alittle heated and well lets just say we didnt need the clothes we were wearing.
