Chapter 12

Emma's POV

Killian and his father were doing everything they could to find a way to help me find David. Though I was worried, David hasnt been heard from in a long time. I doubt he still cares about me if he did I don know why he left me with James. I also have been avoiding my friends and Neal for the past couple days while my marks healed. I missed speaking to my friends, but I had Killian and he makes everything better.

"Okay love. Now it wasnt easy, but I think we found David." Killian says.

"Really? How? Where?" I ask.

"Up in Boston. I messaged him asking him just a few questions. Like if he was from Storybrooke, if he had a twin brother. He responded with yes for both and then he asked about you. I didnt tell him I just said we should meet so you two could talk in person." He says.

"Okay when?" I ask.

"Tomorrow." He says.

Later that day I was freaking out cause I havent seen my brother in so long. Its gonna be weird looking at a face where another version of if used to hit me. The next day Killian took me to meet up with David and I was shaking not knowing how'd he react to his twin hurting me all this time. Killian most of known this cause he grabbed my hand and didnt let go of it till we got there.

"Emma, is that you?" David asks.

"Yeah. Hi." I say.

Without another word he just hugged me and it was the first time in a long time I knew I was safe with brother. I ended up telling him everything James has been up to and he didnt seem to happy.

"Emma, I am so sorry. I shouldnt have ever left you with him. I never thought he would hurt you. Em Im so sorry." He says.

"Thats okay. You didnt know he would hurt me. I didnt know he was violent until he started hitting me out of nowhere one day." I say.

"Umm sorry to interrupt, but Emma said you havent been heard from in years. Why is that?" Killian asks.

"Well thats not true. I sent letter and called, but now Im thinking James hid the letter and told me lies over the phone. God I cant believe I am responsible for him hurting you." David says.

"David your not. Umm Killian give us a moment please." I say.

"Sure. I'll be outside if you need me." Killian says.

Killian got up and left and I knew he was gonna watch us from outside.

"Look David, James is a jerk and he hurt me, but its done and over with. Killian saved me and Killian found you. Thats why I cant have him hear this. David you live here and I need one of my brothers to be my guardian. So are you gonna make me move?" I ask.

"Emma... Look I have to. Your not safe with James." David says.

"But my life is in Storybrooke. I cant leave it." I say.

"Look I know this will be hard, but Im sure.." He says but stops.

"Look I just joined the boys soccer team and they are finally making me feel as part of the team. My friends who dont know about all this are very important. Now this guy Im seeing Neal is well also important I guess. Though then theres Killian and I cant leave him because he never gave up on me being safe. He worked hard to insure my safety putting himself at risk. I cant just go, but maybe you can come to Storybrooke." I say.

Before he could say anything more I walked out and Killian took us back to Storybrooke. I was quiet at first, but Killian got me to talk. He placed his hand on mine the rest of the car ride home. I didnt want to leave cause I dont want to lose him. I just cant lose the one person who sees me. If I did I would have nothing and having to say goodbye to Killian is to hard cause I love... Like him. Yeah I like him as a friend.... Yeah just as a friend.
