"I'm Daus, seven years old." Fatso introduced himself.

"Emi." "Lea." we said one after another without delay. "we're five."

"They're Tikam and Kaki." Fats... Daus pointed towards the bread fighters. "The three of us are from the same town."

No wonder they agreed to share the bread so easily.

"We were warrior apprentice of our town, so we have some martial training, but I doubt we can defeat an adult, even with all six of us." Daus said, telling us everything he felt important.

Talking with Fats.. Daus becomes a lot easier after we healed the injuries on his face. Before that, he was reluctant to take part in fighting the kidnapper, using his injured eyes as an excuse.

And after healing him, the other kids look at us as if we are a superhero...

"Your healing magic is as powerful as my village's elder." Nina said. She's the attentive girl who saw Daus took two pieces of bread on the first morning and also the one who showed us the shit pot. "How nice... My magic still didn't manifest."

If I'm not mistaken, magic normally manifest between the age of five to seven. Nina is six years old. So she's kinda jealous of us who is younger than her but already can use magic. Well, let's not tell her that I can use magic since two days old.

Daus, Man and Kal has manifested their magic. All there of them got wind magic. They can move the air. But I can move the air better than Tikam and Kaki by blowing with my mouth. That's just how weak kid's magic are normally. They still have a lot to learn. But I believe, Daus can save... can help me beat the kidnappers. He is, by far, better than those two at using his wind magic. It's not strong enough to send even a little kid like us flying, but he manage to lift our skirt from across the wagon. I'd say that's good enough. Better than nothing.

Daus is not just fat and muscle. He has a good head on his shoulder too. The fight with us makes him unable to open his left eye due to the swelling. So he thought that it's too risky to try anything when he can't see well. He was planning on escaping after he is sold to slavery or negotiate his way out with his future master.

"But you don't know how far they'll send you to." I argue with him yesterday.

"Doesn't matter. I know how to ride a horse. I can just steal one and escape."

Hearing that, my head started thinking of other possibility for our escape plan.

"Can you steer this wagon?"

"I should be able to... It should be the same as riding horse."

I'm not entirely convinced with that answer but I'd rather bet on him being able to control the wagon than us walking on our feet back home. After all, the wagon have been travelling for three days straight from dusk to sunset. There's no way everyone can walk that far.

Daus and the bread fighters might be able to. They're quite tough. Nina, probably not. But the other two surely won't make it. Erwin, five, almost never talk. Except when we ask his name. While the other girl never uttered a word the whole time. We don't even know her name. So I decided to call her sona. Not that she ever respond when I call her that. This two are in a sorry condition.

The plan is to jump on the bread guy tomorrow morning, put him out of commission and deal with the other two. We will fight one of them and the rest will have to delay the other one until we are finished. Then we will take the wagon and travel back the way we came. So basically this plan hinged on the premise that we can beat the first kidnapper, beat the second one and then beat the last one. we also need to be careful of their dog.
