The dress we are wearing right now is quite pretty. It can't be compared to the pieces of rags that I called clothes before. It must've cost quite a lot.
So why did they give such a cloth to us? It's because we literally have become the mascot of this slavery!
The cloth is pretty all right, but I don't feel comfortable wearing it. The cloth have a very large neck area, which must have been specifically tailored for us. But the huge neck area also leave our necks bare for everyone to see. Every day, hundreds and hundreds of people came to the slavery just to have a look of the two headed abomination which is, us. Their eyes filled with contemp and disgust. Emi doesn't like it too but there's nothing we can do right now.
One day after another passed by. As the other cells' inhabitants were bought off and new one fills the spot, we are still here, as the main exhibit.
It's not like nobody actually interested in buying us. On the very first day a rich looking fat guy came in and tried to purchase us. But he give up after the slave trader named our price.
"A hundred frickin gold coin?" The rich guy was totally surprised by the price tag. And nobody else ever mention of buying us after that guy.
Is that a lot? It must be. But I don't really know. After all the only currency I've seen before was a one and ten copper coin.
By the way, none of the other slaves around us were priced in gold coin. Most of them are priced around one to ten silver coins, while the most beautiful one is priced at 50 silver coins. That was the highest I've heard the slave trader said, apart from ours of course.
I also don't know how much silver coin does a gold coin worth. But since 50 silver pretty woman was priced in silver coin, then one gold coin must've worth more than that.
But damn, we worth at least 100 times more than that pretty and curvy woman? This makes me think the slavery just put that price on us to prevent people from buying us. Especially since our kidnappers said we already have a buyer.
Unless the buyer they mentioned was this slavery...
. . . . . .
It've been more than a week. On the second Sunday morning of our "stay" here, a group of people came to the slavery.
"Weird, isn't today is Sunday? Why are they opening the shop?" Our neighbor asked her neighbor while being half awake.
"Like I know. In case you didn't realize, I'm not their boss." She's not in the best of mood it seems.
The slavery was closed on the last sunday. And I suppose that's how it usually was. So this is not normal.
The group of people are lead by a burly man. The man is built like a bear, but rather short compared to the majority of his group. But it's clear he's the boss. He donned a warm looking thick clothes, nice looking hat, and lots of accessories.
He wore a lot of necklace, wait, can that chain be called a necklace? His biggest necklace look more like a leash for Cerberus. He also wore a lot of rings and bracelets too but still have an intimidating look on him instead of weak rich dude. In short, he looks like a mafia boss.
This scary dude came straight to our cage. His men followed behind him.
"Hey, open it up. " The bear gestured to the slave trader.
"Yes sir!" The worker immediately went to fetch the key and opened our cage. Before we could move he yanked us out.
"Ouch!" We were startled, not expecting that.
Our heart started beating like crazy. Emi's scared. Too many stranger, too close. But at least she didn't cry.
I look up to see the bear leans forward, putting his face within our punching range, but I'm not ballsy enough to punch him. He stared at us intently, as if wanting to swallow us.
