31 : Another reunion

For a mid sized town such as this, the Lord's manor is unbelievably big. It's even grander than Bear's mansion in the capital.

Our carriage came to a stop right in front of the mansion. A servant opened the carriage door and Bear, Kanan and us get off. There are people waiting for our arrival at the front door.

"Welcome, Lord Petir. Please come inside." An old butler escorted us into the building while the rest of the servants are bowing their head.

Bear sat down on a sofa and gesture for us to sit beside him. I reluctantly obey him seeing how serious he carry himself right now. Is this noble we are meeting some big shot that he can't offend? Kanan remain standing behind us with a similarly serious manner.

We are served warm tea that is just perfect for warming one's body on this chilly morning.

"Tap tap tap tap"

Before I could finish the tasty tea, a pair of light steps came rushing down the stairs.

"It's really her!" a little girl shriek.

A cute girl a bit smaller than us came running excitedly.

"EmiLea! Your name is EmiLea right?"
She grab our hand with her small hands. Her excitement almost made me spill the tea.

"Err, Yes. And who are you?"

She seems to know us. But I don't know her. I don't think i've met anyone as young as her at the churches.

"See! She's real! I was not lying!" She yelled.

"Please pardon her manner. And thanks for coming on such a short notice, Lord Petir." A gentleman walk down the same stairs, accompanied by a beautiful lady.

"I'm Marquis Tekum."

Marques Tekum bore a polite smile on his face, but it wasn't able to hide his uneasiness from anyone.

"It's my honor to be able to make acquaintance with a distinguished noble such as yourself, Lord Tekum"

"I'm sorry for this, especially after I had just decline your invitation. I intend to pay the gathering a visit later when I'm free, but then I heard you're already preparing to leave. I should have handle this properly and notify your side."

"It's fine. I know you're quite busy recently sir. Staying here for one more day doesn't really inconvenience us."

"Father, mother, look! She's the one I told about! The demon girl!" She point at us.

"Priscilla!" The lady yelled, reprimanding the little girl for her lack of manner.

Demon girl huh. Haven't heard that in a while.

Now I feel like I've met this girl before, but I just don't know where or when we met. Or maybe she just saw us from afar.

She have a slightly wavy, beautiful silvery hair just like her mother and a pair of bright golden eyes like the Marquis' eyes.

"This is our daughter, Priscilla. She really wants to meet the Holy maiden." Lord Tekum explained.

"Greet them!" Lord Tekum whisper to his daughter under his breath.

"Ah..! Um.. Nice meet chu, Lord Petir, Emi, Lea. My name is Priscilla Tetum Alastar." She fumble on her words.

But I couldn't help but notice that she specifically look at Emi when she said Emi's name, and at me when she said Lea.

She knows which head is Emi and which head is Lea!

At first I thought maybe she learn our name from her father, who could easily find out our name. But even Bear adressed us as Emilea. Not as Emi and Lea.
