My new life have been quite eventful so far.

Two days old, I still have a lot to learn about this new world. But there's one thing I've learnt so far.

Magic!

Ridiculous right? I'm less than 48 hours old yet I'm able to use healing magic already.

It all happen last night. We were experiencing heart failure and was on the verge of dying. Then a mysterious man suddenly appear and saved our life. Using healing magic on us.

I thought he's a God. But he denied it. Saying he's not a God, yet.

Then he gave us three choice. Three situations that could happen. Both me and my twin lives, one of us live or both of us die.

Before I could think much about it, before I could make the choice, he already got the answer from a part of my mind that even I am not aware of.

"Deep inside, you want both you and your twin to stay alive. " His thought echoed in my mind.

Of course I do! I don't want to die. And I'm not about to sacrifice an innocent baby selfishly just so that I could live, especially since it feels like I'm a parasite to this body.

This guy can read minds, deep in the sea of subconsciousness. Thoughts that even the person itself still unaware of.

I find this to be very disturbing. It feels like I'm laying naked in front of him in broad daylight for him to see all of myself.

The pretty man ignore my thoughts. He proceed to engulf me in a layer of colourful cloud of some sort, which I later realized was magic energy.

It seems that this world has magic. But normally, magic only started to manifest when your body have enough mana to activate your latent magic. Usually this happen around the age of five to seven years old.

He said the way to manually manifest someone's magic is simple. Since the only requirement is having enough mana. So he'll give some mana to me and I'll have to absorb it. But getting a baby to learn how to absorb magic energy is no simple task.

We spent what I feel like an eternity trying to absorb his mana that I fear mom or dad will wake up anytime soon and walk in on us. But the darkness of night prevailed and morning never arrive. This weird situation makes me uneasy and unable to concentrate.

"To put it simply, I've stopped time so that you'll have enough time to learn." He said nonchalantly.

"Now, focus."

Oh wow, knowing that really put my mind at ease. I thought sarcastically.

"At least you don't need to worry about your parents seeing us. "

Hmm... fine. I continued trying to absorb his mana. We spent the unmoving time in silence. This mysterious master rarely respond to any of my unnecessary thoughts.

Hours passed. Then it feels like days had passed, then months. But morning is still not here.

"Comparing to the relative flow of time, you've spent almost a year in here. " He dropped the bomb.

What? Really?

Not long after that, I finally absorbed enough magic energy. There's this weird itch, or urge welling inside me, telling me to direct the mana into my palm.

"Listen to your instinct. Do what you feel like doing. It will tell you how to use your talent, your latent magic." He instruct me.

And I did just that. I can't exactly explain how I did it, but my hands are now glowing with soft green light, barely visible even in this dark room. Unbelievable!
