Rey's POV
I looked up at the boy with the dark hair as I introduce myself. "I'm Rey," I said with a shy smile.
I had recognized the boy almost as soon as he came up to me, he was the boy I had seen in the hallway when we were coming into the academy.
"Nice to meet you, Rey," he said with a half smile.
"Um, it's nice to meet you to," I replied nervously.
Master Luke began to speak once again. "So, as you all know, you are all here to train to become Jedi, and to learn to control the force." He said, looking at the room at everyone. "And today you will begin to train with a lightsaber with a partner. Your partners have already been decided for you." He added. Quite a few of the others had begun to complain about that, as for I was completely fine with it, since I didn't really know anyone here.
Ben's POV
I glance over at the brunette girl sitting beside me, and I had to admit, she had caught my interest as soon as she had entered the building, but I didn't really know what it was about her. As Luke listed off the names, I wasn't really paying any attention until he said my name.
"And finally, Ben and Rey will be partners," Luke said.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the girl beside me, Rey, take a sigh of relief, and I knew why. It was scary to restart completely, and I had been the only person here other than Master Luke to acknowledge her existence.
"We will begin in a few minutes, please stand or sit with your partners now." Luke said.
