Rey's POV
"I'm not going to tell you anything, you know that, right?" I asked him quietly, studying the ground I was sitting on.

"Yeah, I know." He replied quietly, unlocking the cell door, when I heard the click of the lock I glanced up at him.

"Is the interrogation right now?" I asked him confused.

"No, I just need to talk to you, one on one," he replied, entering the cell.

I looked at him, completely confused as to what he was doing. He sat down across from me, his back was against the cell door.

"What do you need to talk to me?" I asked him quietly. "I don't understand how that's going to help either of us." I added.

"Because, Rey, you let me think you were dead for three years, I at least deserve a few answers." He replied softly.

Ben's POV
I didn't really know what I was doing talking to her, much less why I wasn't sitting across from her talking.

"I thought you were dead to, Ben, Snoke told me that he'd killed you, that you died," she replied, her bottom lip was quivering and tears were still streaming down her cheeks.

I resisted the urge to pull her into my arms and tell her that everything was going to be okay but I knew that would be the wrong thing to do and I was shocked by her response. "And you believed him?" I asked her quietly.

"Yeah, I did, but why does it matter anymore? It isn't going to save my life or anything," she said quietly.

You know what, who cares if it's the wrong thing to do, I pulled her into a hug, she was physically shaking and it sort of felt like all of the nights I spent at the academy, holding Rey as she cried. A tear ran down my cheek as I held her in my arms, knowing that this would probably be the last time I'd hold her like this.
